His mother and biological father are ex-marines who separated just one month before his mother gave birth to his first sibling—their separation ties into a sad tale of traumatic events that Zachary and his mother, in particular, endured.

As a child, Zachary had been through an unfortunate incident with his father that changed his life forever. He was hospitalized after sustaining irreparable injuries. However, a lot of positive has come from the incident, and today, he lives a wholesome life with the support of his mother and adoptive father.

Tragedy Befell Zachary Taylor Warner When He Was a Baby

Zachary lived with his Marine parents, who had been assigned to bases worldwide. On the day of the unfortunate incident, Zachary was in the custody of his father while his mother worked at a base in Virginia Beach. While in his father's clutches, Zachary was accidentally dropped and hit the ground head-first.

Brenda received a phone call about the devastating news, informing her that the impact of her four-month-old's fall caused brain swelling and loss of sight. His fragile life was drastically threatened, and Zachary's life was seemingly going to end that night at the hospital.

Brenda had traveled to the hospital, emotionally devastated and doing all she could to help her child. She recalled Zachary's seizure and the doctors doing everything to help. In a desperate attempt to make a difference, she called out, "Jesus, Jesus, let this be the last seizure," Zachary survived against all odds.

Zachary Taylor Warner's Mother Went All around the US to Tell Their Story

Brenda was moved by the unforeseen incident that impacted her motherhood. The dreadful incident, along with other heartbreaking events in her life, awoken a faith-driven desire to share her story with women across the nation.

She joined the Women of Faith tour to speak about her son's accident, her marriages, and the tragic death of her parents, who lost their lives to a vicious Arkansas tornado. The audience resonated with the touching tale of faith, heartbreak, and painful loss. Another celebrity whose parents tragically died together is Alicia Witt.

One would imagine that a woman revealing her wounds in support of others would also need to be helped. During one of her speeches, Brenda pointed at Kurt Warner, her second husband, and said, "I married that football player. He adopted my two, and we have five more."

Before they embarked on this journey of faith, Brenda was recognized as the retired football player's supportive wife, who defended him at all costs. Years later, the roles were reversed, and Kurt had taken it upon himself to support her initiative, devising a plan to build a special needs home for Zachary and others like him.

The double NFL MVP winner spoke about Zachary's impact on the masses and how it surpasses their achievements. "Zach has probably impacted more people than all of us combined because there is something unique and special and honest about these individuals that see it like it is and call it like they see it," Kurt noted.

The couple uses the fame and integrity attached to Kurt's name to raise funds for their prioritized faith-driven initiatives. They share the same level of trust in their God and use that energy to make a difference in the lives of people afflicted developmentally and intellectually.

Brenda & Kurt Warner Opened a Home for Young Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Since Zachary's childhood injury, he has, along with his mother, grown from strength to strength, making enormous progress with Kurt's support. They have collaborated in erecting a home called Treasure House for people living with IDD, a disability that entails hindrance in mental and physical development.

Zachary is one of the home's residents; he is now 33 years old and living a purposeful life surrounded by those who understand and care for him. Speaking about the project that brings her a lot of pride, Brenda said she believes it will be an incredible model for treating people with disabilities like Zachary's.

Being the parent of a differently abled child is pretty rewarding and calls for authentic and unconditional love. "George of the Jungle" star Brendan Fraser is an actor who recently ended his lengthy disappearance from Hollywood and, like Brenda, fathers a differently-abled son.
