Laura Ingraham Doesn't Have a Husband and Seems to Be Single Now

Although two men almost became Laura Ingraham's husband, the political figure has not made it down the aisle. The TV host has dated politicians and businessmen but has chosen to focus on her career and her three children.

As one of the most well-known women in America, Ingraham's personal life and dating history was placed under the spotlight despite her best efforts to avoid so.

Questions have arisen about her relationship status following a few romances, only one of which she confirmed. Her last known relationship dates back to 2005, three years before she set her sights on becoming a mother.

Laura Isn't Open about Her Private Life

Born on June 19, 1963, Ingraham grew up in a small town called Glastonbury in Connecticut. The daughter of an Irish and English father and the granddaughter of Polish immigrants, she was raised in humble beginnings.

Ingraham took her years of knowledge from university and began working as a law clerk under Ralph K. Winter, Jr., an American judge. After setting her sights on media, Ingraham landed a hosting job for MSNBC in 1996.

As their relationship progressed, reports emerged of Ingraham and D'Souza's engagement.

Once her career in media took off, Ingraham joined CBS before becoming a member of the FOX News team in 2008. All her hard work paid off, as Ingraham was handed the hosting position on her show, "The Ingraham Angle," on Fox News Channel in October 2017.

Over the years, Ingraham has been linked to several high-profile political figures, including commentator Dinesh D'Souza. Ingraham and D'Souza were reportedly engaged but ultimately went their separate ways.

Rumors also began to swirl that she dated politician Robert Torricelli in 1999, but neither commented on the alleged relationship.

Laura Was Linked to Dinesh D'Souza, but It Was Never Confirmed

After graduating from Glastonbury High School in 1981, Ingraham enrolled at Dartmouth College and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in 1985. She furthered her studies and attended the University of the Virginia School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor degree.

At Dartmouth, she met D'Souza while they were working on "The Dartmouth Review." According to reports, D'Souza's type is conservative blondes. As their relationship progressed, reports emerged of Ingraham and D'Souza's engagement.

It is unclear when their relationship ended or why their romance did not work out, but Ingraham was already linked to someone else by 1999.

A decade ago, Ingraham also had a fling with Keith Olbermann, a fellow political figure.

However, in 2014, the exes proved they left their relationship on a friendly note when Ingraham came to D'Souza's defense following a campaign finance fraud case. She wrote a letter to the judge handling D'Souza's case and said:

"Dinesh is simply one of the finest human beings I have ever met. His generosity of spirit, philanthropy, keen sense of compassion, and devotion to country are what I hope my own children exhibit when they mature into adults."

Other Men She Was Linked To

After cementing herself as an opinioned Republican, news of Ingraham's alleged relationship with Robert Torricelli came as a surprise as he is a Democrat with differing views.

According to reports, the former couple dated in 1999 for a brief period, but neither has confirmed nor denied dating claims. A decade ago, Ingraham also had a fling with Keith Olbermann, a fellow political figure.

In April 2005, Ingraham did something out of character and confirmed her engagement to James V. Reyes. During this time, she shared more about her personal life and revealed she was diagnosed with cancer. After undergoing chemo, she said:

"It's weird, but getting cancer has made me feel more blessed than I ever felt before."

While Ingraham was grateful for her recovery, her relationship with Reyes ended before they became man and wife. In the years that followed, Laura Ingraham focused on becoming a mother.

She adopted her daughter, Maria, from Guatemala in 2008– an experience she called the "best thing I've ever done." In 2009 and 2011, Ingraham adopted her sons, Michael Dimitri and Nikolai Peter, from Russia.
