Man Leaves Beloved Family to Work in the US, Returns 26 Years Later to an Empty Decaying Home

The Painful, Cold Hug

It was evident that Angel had posted the videos to find closure and accept the gravity of the situation. In one of his videos, he revealed that his beloved grandparents had passed away before he could wrap his arms around them.

Angel also shared pictures of himself visiting the cemetery and lying on their graves—his way of saying goodbye to his loved ones. "What I received was a cold hug, one of those that freezes your soul and heart, but I know that they take care of me from heaven," he lamented.

While the disconsolate man finally gave his grandparents a long-awaited hug, it was cold and lacked the warmth he had always dreamed of! In pursuing his American dream and owing to the cruelness of fate, he never got the chance to say goodbye to the people close to his heart.
