Jamie Lee Curtis took to Instagram to write a touching farewell message for her pal, James Corden, after appearing on his show. The actress praised the TV star with a somewhat gloomy tone.

She did not make the touching Instagram post only because he's a great friend but also because Corden will be leaving the show soon. In the caption, Curtis revealed that her last appearance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" might be the final one. She admits that biding farewell to the comedian was tougher than she expected.

Curtis's appearance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" was one to remember, especially for fans of her lengthy career and the show's host. She sat beside Comedian Nate Bargatze and dispelled the notion she visited to promote the movie that baited her first Oscar nomination, "Everything Everywhere All At Once."

After quickly skipping through some of the biggest achievements in her career, Curtis revealed her reason for being on the show, saying, "I'm here for one reason only. I'm here to tell you that you're like the nicest guy, and I'm only here to tell you that. I'm here because you're a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful human being."

After giving Corden her final praises, Curtis pulled out an action figure of Corden and herself, made by one of her friends. She handed the Corden action figure to the host and suggested that he take it on as merchandise now that he will no longer be on the talk show.

James Corden's Show Will End in April

The chapter of the British comedian's "Late Late Show" career will end this April. CBS announced that the final episode of the talk show would air on April 27, 2023, at 12:37 a.m. Pacific time. The last episode is promoted as an enormous emotional conclusion to the talk show, which will air after a prime-time send-off for Corden.

Last year the Brit also announced his term at the desk was ending. He said he would not renew his contract this April after signing a final year's contract last year. Corden revealed there might be more for him beyond the talk show. He added:

"When I started this journey, it was always going to be just that: a journey, an adventure. I never saw [the show] as my final destination, and I never want this show to overstay its welcome in any way."
