Steve Doocy Says He Is Going to Spoil Newborn Grandson While Feeding Him in Sweet Photo
Two of Steve Doocy's children have made him a grandpa in a month. The "Fox and Friends" co-host posted a photo on Monday, March 6, 2023, of him giving his grandson, Arthur Sadri, a bottle a few days after his birth.
Steve Doocy established that his daughter Sally Doocy Sadri and the baby were "doing great," adding, "let the spoiling begin!" The healthy baby boy was 9.1 pounds at birth.
In mid-January, he shared the progress of building a crib with his handy son-in-law, Ali Sadri, satisfied that they got the nursery unpacked "before recycling day." When follower asked if he and his wife knew what they would be called, he replied, "Not yet!"
Steve Doocy Welcomed His First Grandchild Just a Few Weeks Before
Steve introduced his first grandchild to the internet on February 9, insisting, "CALL ME GRANDPA!" Bridget Blake Doocy, born to Hillary Vaughn and Peter Doocy, was dressed in a pastel pink baby grow with her name embroidered on the front, topped with an outsized bow headband.
A trait he shares with his dad, the presenter values most, is always wanting the best for his children.
Hillary and Peter, both correspondents at Fox, married in April 2021 at Montage Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina. During a "Fox and Friends" family cooking segment in September 2022, Steve joked that Hillary "is hungry all the time." The first-time mom confirmed that she was "eating for two."
Steve Doocy's Children Could Take a Few Pages from His Book about Fatherhood
The anchor published "Tales from the Dad Side," a memoir about fatherhood in 2008. The dad of three felt that there were only a few books on the market about parenting from the dad's perspective. Steve said:
"We're doing our best, and we love our kids. […] And, ad-lib – what I learned early [is] that while guys like to have plans, you should plan to ad-lib. There's a lot of ad-libbing in the dad department."
A son of a traveling salesman, Steve lived in around seven houses before he was 14. He did not feel like he ever had a real childhood home. When they became parents, his wife, Kathy Gerrity, agreed with him that they should make their home in one place.
He looked up to his father, who he remembers as a practical man who never "put on airs." A trait he shares with his dad, the presenter values most, is always wanting the best for his children.
