'Sister, Sister' Tamera Mowry's Kids 'Start to Look Like' Her in Video as They Grow Older
Tamera Mowry encouraged friendly sibling rivalry between her kids, Aiden and Ariah Housley, in an elaborate game of Tic-Tac-Toe with table tennis balls and peanut butter slices in the post from March 12, 2023.
The 7-year-old Ariah Housley got a early lead over her brother, Aiden Housley, 10. However, as he did a few days before in a match against Tamera Mowry, the preteen was victorious in the schoolyard game given a social media makeover by content creator Dude Perfect. Tamera announced last week that "The Housley Life" is returning soon.
An Instagram commenter observed, "The older they get, the more they start to look like Tamera." Though for most, it was more nuanced, with many commenting on the similarities between Ariah and Tamera's facial expressions, which one found "hilarious!"
Tamera Mowry Prayed Her Daughter Would Look like Her
During a Girl Chat segment on "The Real," Tamera confessed that she hoped that Ariah Housley would look like her in every aspect. Friend and co-host Loni Love agreed with this wish, joking she didn't want the baby to look like Tamera's husband, Adam Housley, who she optioned has a big head.
Tamera insists that "perfection does not exist" and that failing to achieve this non-entity will leave you judging and doubting yourself.
Co-host Adrienne Houghton remembered that her colleague prayed for her secondborn to have her hair and eyes, which became a reality. "The Housley Life" reality star prompted Loni to repeat what she said a few days before about Ariah, "Ooh, she looks like her daddy."
Tamera Mowry Says There's No Perfection When It Comes to Parenting
The mother of two gave sound parenting advice on "Good Morning America" in September 2021. Tamera reminded parents that there are going to be times when they have complete control and others when they do not:
"Take it one day at a time. Know that your best is good enough."
Tamera Mowry insists that "perfection does not exist," and that failing to achieve this non-entity will leave you judging and doubting yourself. She said that knowing that things cannot be perfect while still giving your all is something your children will "appreciate."
"Excise, meditation, and prayer" are very important for the "Sister, Sister" star, who tries to live a balanced life. She believes self-care is the opposite of being selfish "because when you pour back into your life," you will be a better mother, wife, sister, and friend.
