Groom Is Accused of Cheating with Bridesmaid after Bride Reveals Their Wedding Photos

An angry mob of internet users tried to convince a woman that her husband was cheating on her after she posted photos showing a bridesmaid getting too close for comfort during their wedding day photoshoot. The woman tried to defend her husband, but people still insisted he was cheating.

When a bride got her official photos from her photographer, she was excited to look back on her special day and relive all the beautiful moments. However, instead of feeling all the butterflies in her tummy again after marrying the love of her life, she was gutted to notice something strange about the photos.

During the couple's photoshoot with their entourage, it seemed one of her bridesmaids was captured holding onto the groom, causing a wave of reactions online. Onlookers were convinced the bridesmaid and the groom were in a relationship.

A Joke Gone Wrong

Heather initially posted the photos online as a joke. On her TikTok, she shared a series of images with their entourage, where one particular bridesmaid was photographed hand in hand with the groom. In another photo, the woman seemed to place her hand too close to the groom's lower extremities.

Captioning the photos, Heather wrote, "Guess I'm a sister wife." However, she soon realized people were taking her joke seriously.

Quick to defend her bridesmaid, Heather clarified that her tipsy friend actually lost her balance at one point and held on to the groom to keep her steady. Since the groomsman beside the bridesmaid was an amputee, she had no choice but to cling to the groom instead.

They Called Her Husband a Liar

Still, people weren't convinced, flooding the post with comments about the entire photoshoot being a big red flag. Women with experience being cheated on by their husbands were certain something was going on behind the bride's back.

In a separate video, Heather and her husband Travis tried to clear the misconception, saying the bridesmaid had simply lost her footing. The photos reveal one of her legs was up.

Travis also said since he was the person closest to the bridesmaid, she held on to him so she wouldn't fall over, adding:

“Sorry to disappoint everybody who wanted me to be a cheater and the bridesmaid to be a homewrecker. It’s not actually what happened.”

"She's sleeping with him, he's a liar," one user wrote. However, Heather stood firm in defending her husband and said that it was her husband who needed to be worried since she and the concerned bridesmaid were likely to be in their own "sister wives" relationship more than the groom.

Putting the Issue to Sleep

To put the issue to sleep once and for all, the bride decided to post a raw, unedited video of what transpired in the photo shoot. In the clip, the bridesmaid appears to be wobbling until she can no longer keep her balance. She instinctively grabs the groom's hand and holds on for dear life.

Despite the video, some internet users remained skeptical. The fact that the bridesmaid chose to hold on to the groom multiple times was enough for them to feel like something was going on between the two of them.

Heather and their groom remain happily married. Unfortunately for them, because of the issue they stirred, many of their new followers have been fixating on what's to come, requesting for an update on the cheating situation.

For now, they'll have to accept the fact that the photo slideshow was meant to be a joke, and that there are no hard feelings between the bride, the groom, and the bridesmaid.

The bride did not seem concerned about all the comments, suspecting her husband was cheating. She explained that she shared the video as an inside joke with everyone who was at their wedding and saw the whole thing transpire, but she did not think her video would go viral.
