Tiffani Thiessen Shares Photo of 'Ice Bath Time'
Tiffani Thiessen is still enjoying her ice baths and is now in the company of more celebrities joining in to reap the many benefits of a cold plunge. The actress enjoys her soothing activity so much that she does not stop, even on a rainy day.
In addition to the many delicious meals shared on social media by Tiffani Thiessen, she is also a health enthusiast. She is an actress who broke onto the scene through her performance on "Saved by the Bell" in 1989. Thiessen has recently shared a beneficial activity for overall health—an ice bath.
She posted a picture of herself in a pink beanie and black top, soaking in an ice-filled metal bath. The ice bath has been a trend lately, with many people reaping the benefits of the somewhat simple procedure. The ice bath is said to have many health benefits, capitalized upon by professional athletes.
The actress wrote in her Instagram post's caption, "Rain or Shine.. it's still ice bath time #sundayfunday," seemingly dipping in ice during a cold rainy day. However, Thiessen was not alone as James Carpinello joined her, and she shared a picture of the actor taking his ice-cold dip on her Instagram story.
Thiessen was also joined by Krissy Lefebvre, who shared a video on Instagram, briefly showing moments from the ice bath session. Lefebvre revealed in her caption that this was the second Sunday she conquered the trendy challenge. She then continued:
"Today, 32-degree water, 5-minute bath. Set a goal and do it. That's what it is all about. Find that space to take your mind to another dimension. Thank you, @tiffanithiessen @bradysmithhere, for creating such a wonderful opportunity for me to find my inner strength."
This is not Thiessen's first time taking on the ice-cold plunge, as she has previously shared her ice bath endeavors with her nearly two million followers on Instagram. Her first time letting her fans in on her wintry health technique was February 5, when she posted a picture of herself in the exact location, soaking in ice.
Her intriguing post had Instagram users admitting their inability to try such a thing. "Can't do it, Kelly Kapowski I will freeze like Jack on 'Titanic,'" someone said, referring to Thiessen by the name of her character from "Saved by the Bell," where she starred along with Courtney Mazza's spouse, Mario Lopez.
Another user joked that Thiessen should travel to New York and get the same freeze from standing outside. Her post and outfit were interesting as she was in the bath with a baseball-fitted cap and dark-tinted shades. The smile on her face showed that her experience might not have been entirely punishing.
The actress then followed it up with another chilly dip on February 20. This time abandoning the black and white baseball fitted for a pink beanie, embroidered "Embrace the suck." A rubber duck also joined her and stayed afloat above the ice-filled water.
With the activity reoccurring, Thiessen's followers became concerned about the point of it. According to Country Living, the ice bath works on reducing joint inflammations and the recovery of muscles. The publication added that athletes also use this technique in their recovery regimen.
The actress is relatively active on social media. Her social media content varies, as she shared work-related media, health and lifestyle content, family photos, and videos, with the occasional throwback post scattered here and there.
Recently she shared a throwback photo with her husband, Brady Smith. In the caption, Thiessen revealed that that is what she and her husband looked like before becoming parents and growing older.
In Thiessen's post, we see her and Smith coupled by the face as they smile for a warm and now-nostalgic photo. The couple is still in love after nearly two decades of commitment.
