Romeo Reign and Mia Bella Takes after Dad Mike Sorrentino: 'The Situation Gene Pool Is Strong'
Mike Sorrentino, also known as "The Situation," has settled down and started a family since his days as a party boy on "Jersey Shore." The reality TV personality revealed how he takes care of himself while being a father to his two kids, who fans noticed look just like him.
On March 21, Mike took to Instagram to share pictures of his adorable children, Romeo Reign and Mia Bella Sorrentino, who he shares with his wife, Lauren. Mike posted a photo of his daughter in a pink blanket in the first slide, followed by a snap of his smiling son.
"Happy babies," he captioned the post, which received over 100,000 likes at the time of writing. In the comments section, fans gushed about how "precious" Mike's children are and how much they resembled their father. "The Situation gene pool is strong," one fan wrote, and another shared, "Hey there, mini Mike! Lol."
A third user humorously commented, "When Lauren spends 20 months of her life growing those adorable babies just for them to come out looking just like their daddy! Regardless, they're precious." And a fourth person jokingly typed, "Did Lauren contribute to making this baby, or did she just carry it? Oh my goodness... she looks just like you!!!"
Mike and Lauren first welcomed their son on May 26, 2021, following their November 2018 wedding, and announced they were expecting their first child in December. After Romeo was delivered by cesarean section, Mike and Lauren took to their social media pages to share the good news.
Mike's wife welcomed their second child on January 24, 2023. The new parents of two smiled into the camera as they posed with their bundle of joy, and Mike revealed on social media, "Of all the titles I've been privileged to have, 'Dad' has always been the best."
Despite being a doting dad, the reality TV star revealed that he ensured he set aside time to take care of himself during his podcast with his wife. "If you don't take care of yourself first, you can't take care of anyone else," Mike said after his wife shared that she found herself slipping down her list of priorities after becoming a mother.
During the podcast, Mike gave a shoutout to all mothers as he recalled holding down the fort and taking care of the family of four after his wife fell ill. "Big shoutout to all the moms," he said.
