Fans of KISS are used to seeing the lead singer, Paul Stanley, with his signature black and white makeup on. Yet, he is a family man and recently removed all his makeup for a picture with his daughter.
Stanley is now in his early 70s and has talked about how becoming a father affected his life and rockstar status. Stanley became a father late in life, only welcoming his fourth child in his late 50s.

While he has had an extensive career as a rockstar and has often been in the public eye, he endeavored to ensure that his fame did not heavily affect his family's lives. He kept his wife and four children private.
Although he keeps his family private, he is not afraid to talk about them and what they mean to him. In 2018, Stanley opened up about what becoming a father did for him, mused:
"I went through quite a bit of life wondering what life was about, and it just seemed like perhaps at the end of the day it didn't mean much because we go through our lives and then we're gone."

However, when his children were born, he either helped deliver his children or was there for his wife throughout the birth. He then realized that a person only dies physically because they are a product of the generations that came before them and those that came after.
He believes that having a child is being given a blank slate in life, and any effort you put into raising that child is what you will get out. For this reason, he tries to be as present as possible for his children.

"Erin and I are once again blessed with the addition of Emily Grace to our family. I'm not sure she can sing, but her first screams let me know she's definitely Daddy's girl."

He shared a photo of his wife on their wedding day for their fourteenth anniversary and wished her a happy anniversary, saying she was a "key to a life filled with gifts I never imagined."
He then encouraged fans to find someone who brought meaning to their lives and said there is nothing more meaningful than finding someone who will add value to your life.
On their anniversary last year, Stanley chose to post a photo of himself and his wife for their special day. He showed them at dinner to celebrate their anniversary and said spending only one life with his wife was insufficient.
Stanley and Sutton share children Emily, 11, Sarah, 14, and Colin, 16. Stanley is also the father to 28-year-old Evan, who he shares with his ex-wife, Pamela Bowen. He is close to each of his children.
The rockstar is unafraid to show his family off on social media for special occasions and wholesome moments. He often posts about his children on birthdays or when they spend quality time together.
During the quarantine period of the COVID-19 pandemic, Stanley often posted when he and his children were out and about but ensured they wore their masks and kept a safe distance between themselves and others.
He also shared a photo of himself and his eldest daughter, Sarah, on her 14th birthday. The picture showed him in his Kiss outfit and makeup, and Sarah dressed more casually. He wondered where the years had gone and said he was proud to be her dad.
Stanley's eldest son, Evan, is also a musician in a band called The Dives. Stanley once posted that he had seen his son's band play and called them "terrific." He believes his son is an outstanding musician and an even better person.
The rockstar is grateful for his family and took to Facebook last year to share his feelings. He gushed:
"I'm blessed with so much more than I could ever have imagined when I was younger. Those who don't know their good fortune don't deserve it. Grateful for all I have."
The photo he shared to accompany the caption was of him and his wife posing in front of their Christmas tree. He said he was also grateful for all of the fans he has accumulated throughout the years.
