Sarah Rafferty Is ‘Ravishing as Always’ Showing Her Fresh Face in Ageless Selfies
From Finnish saunas to cold-water face plunges, "Suits" actress Sarah Rafferty has learned many tips and tricks over the years on how to keep her timeless beauty and proved she had reaped the benefits in a recent post.
In a recent Instagram share, Rafferty flaunted a beautiful green pendant necklace in a close-up selfie. "Hi! Not the greatest at the solo selfie game, BUT I can't stop taking selfies with my new favorite necklace," she captioned the post. However, it was her flawless and "ageless" skin that stole the show. "Ravishing as always, Donna Paulson," one fan commented, referring to Rafferty's character on the hit series, "Suits."
"You are so, so beautiful, my angel!!" another fan wrote, and a third added, "HOLY GHOST, YOU ARE BREATHTAKING." "No effects. You are God's greatest creation. Beautiful!" another user shared, and a fifth commented, "Your face card never declines."
When it comes to taking care of her skin, Rafferty has created an arsenal of tips and tricks on looking good. On days when she has not worn a lot of makeup, the actress takes a break from drying soaps and runs a micellar water-soaked cotton ball all over her face to clean the skin and eliminate any impurities.
During her time on "Suits"— co-starring Gabriel Macht and the now Dutchess of Sussex in the first few seasons— Rafferty learned of the wonders of ice water. Whenever she would arrive all puffy-faced and sleepy-eyed to the "rigorous" night shoots, the actress would submerge her face in a bucket of ice water. "It sounds like torture, but I swear it was like a mini facelift and a magical 30-second de-puffer," she said.
After marrying her Finnish husband, Santtu Seppala, a Yale graduate, in 2001, he introduced Rafferty to the world of Finnish saunas. There was no better remedy for jetlag or dull and tired skin for the actress than alternating sessions in a sauna. For a "natural high" and an "awesome" detox, Rafferty would also throw in a cold shower or jump in a freezing lake to really get the blood circulating.
As parents, Rafferty and her husband found ways to spend time together away from the children while still caring for their health. "My husband and I will do hot yoga and hike. Then we'll go out to dinner, where we can actually talk without being interrupted. That's like winning," the actress shared.
