In April 2021, she shared the stories of losing each of her three kids to silence the rumor mill and honor their memory. Her daughter, Tam, died at 17 from what Mia called an "accidental prescription overdose" pertaining to her heart disease and migraines.

The "Hannah and Her Sisters" actress lost another daughter, Lark, at 35 from complications linked to HIV/AIDS. Per Mia, her late daughter shared kids with her long-time partner and passed away in the hospital on Christmas, having led a happy and fruitful life despite her ailment.

After the unbearable loss of two daughters, Mia suffered another heartbreak when her son, Thaddeus, took his own life. The entire Farrow family had reportedly expected the 29-year-old to share the news of his wedding, but sadly, his relationship ended, and he succumbed to the trauma.

Why Does Mia Regret Bringing Woody Allen into Her Family?

In February 2021, the "Husbands and Wives" alum shared her thoughts on parting ways with her ex, Woody Allen. During the premiere episode of her HBO docuseries, Mia shed light on her relationship with the award-winning filmmaker and her daughter, Dylan's accusations against him.

Mia confessed that bringing Woody into her family was "the great regret" of her life, and she couldn't do anything to take it away. She said it was understandable if people didn't believe her since she had also been in denial initially, mainly because, like everyone, she loved and admired him.

Before meeting Woody, Mia was a mom to seven kids, including twins Sascha and Matthew Previn, Lark Song Previn, Fletcher Previn, Summer Daisy Song Previn, Soon-Yi Previn, and Moses Farrow.

But over time, she recounted seeing Woody slowly getting along with her kids, mainly her adopted son, Moses. In "Allen v. Farrow," Mia stated that she talked to him about having a baby, and he said he would only agree provided any parental attachments didn't bind him.

The couple tried but couldn't fall pregnant, after which Mia broached the subject of adoption. "The Watcher" actress claimed her then-partner had no objections but said he didn't want anything to do with her adopted baby. It was then that she adopted a blonde baby girl, Dylan.

Fortunately, Mia and Woody welcomed their biological son, Ronan, after Dylan's adoption. But after Ronan's birth, Dylan alleged that the Academy Award-winning screenwriter began displaying intense affection toward her, forcing her to hide from him.

In December 1991, Woody was said to have officially adopted Moses and Dylan. A month later, Mia claimed she found adult pictures of her other adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn, in his apartment.

Upon confronting her then-boyfriend, Mia recollected hearing Woody say he was in love with Soon-Yi and wanted to marry her.

In one of his memoirs, comprising 400 pages, the comedian declined all accusations of child molestation and defended his feelings for Soon-Yi. Woody and Soon-Yi have been married since 1997 and share two kids.
