‘This Is Big Weird’: Heidi Klum & Daughter Leni Slammed for Posing in Lingerie Campaign

Heidi and Leni Klum stirred up mixed reactions as they teamed up again for the German lingerie brand Intimissimi. The new campaign is not the first time the mother-and-daughter duo posed for an intimate photoshoot.

Leni Klum, Heidi Klum's 19-year-old daughter, recently shared a photo on Instagram announcing Intimissimi's new ad campaign.

She wrote in her caption: "Our new @intimissimiofficial campaign! Find my mom and I on billboards all over Germany and tag us if you see it!! Explore the new collection now online and in all Intimissimi stores."

Rocking a white lacy lingerie set with beads, Leni clasped hands with her mother, who wore a purple set courtesy of the lingerie brand.

However, the photo didn't sit right with some of the fans. "I would not be proud to show my daughter off in this way. I would feel embarrassed and sad," a commenter said.

Another fan felt uncomfortable with the familial pairing and added: "Ngl (sic) this is big weird, mother and daughter posing in lingerie together."

"How old is that kid? She looks like a young teenager - it's very uncomfortable to see her in this sort of pose - with mom or not," another follower added.

But other fans raved over the duo. "You and your mom look absolutely gorgeous," one user wrote, while another said: "Genetics jackpot."

The new campaign followed the original ad last fall, where Leni and Heidi posed in black lingerie sets.

Following in the supermodel's footsteps took some time for Leni as she had to wait until she became a teen before receiving her mom's signal. And that's a decision she agreed on. She shared:

"It would've been so different if I'd started younger. I would've regretted posting certain photos of myself. I would've been like, 'This was so embarrassing.'"

Leni Klum landed her breakthrough modeling stint when she graced the cover of Vogue Germany alongside her mother.

She recalled the moment as "such a good day," especially working alongside her mother. "It was just so many things to be excited about," she added.

The young model is now a Dior beauty ambassador and walks runways in Italy, however, she moved to be closer to her college in New York City, where she is reportedly studying interior design.

Seal, who adopted Leni when she was young, only had words of pride and praise for his daughter.

He gushed about the youngster's humility and "innate understanding of people in general and people's feelings." Leni also posed for Harper's Bazaar Kazakhstan and Hunger Magazine.
