Besides generating income, she found a way to raise money for donations through fashion. In 2008, she shared a story about when she and her parents cleaned out closets at home and unearthed sweaters from her father's sitcom "The Cosby Show" from 1984 to 1992.

Recognizing the potential value of the iconic clothing, Evin took the opportunity to contribute to a cause close to her heart — the Hello Friend/Ennis William Cosby Foundation. Established in memory of her late brother Ennis, the foundation supports educational programs through fundraising efforts.

In 2004, Evin was devastated after a woman accused her father of sexual assault. The accusation eventually became a lawsuit, with more women sharing their narratives against the once-beloved actor. Bill's situation worsened as time passed until he found himself behind bars.

Most recently, in 2023, a former Playboy model came forward with her story against Bill and filed a lawsuit against him. This suit opens a new chapter in the ongoing legal battle against the now 85-year-old.

Watching her father's shortcomings unfold before her eyes was no easy feat. In 2017, Evin penned an open letter to the public, claiming her father deserves better. She wrote:

"When people are so quick to cast hate and make accusations of horrific violence against my dad, they are callous in their carelessness about the harm they are causing to others."

Evin expressed deep concern over the public's relentless persecution of her father and emphasized the media's role in perpetuating accusations, branding him as a "rapist" without having access to the complete truth. Like Evin, Bill's wife, Camille Cosby, stood by him throughout the trial.
