Christopher Glenn Osmond Followed in His Father's Footsteps – Facts about Donny Osmond's Son

After discovering his passion for music at a young age, Christopher Glenn Osmond pursued a career in the music industry and has made a name for himself as a singer, songwriter, and producer. However, his journey has not always been smooth sailing.

Christopher Glenn Osmond grew up surrounded by a family of talented musicians and has proven he also inherited the musical gene. Aside from singing, the musician has also produced music and obtained a Marketing degree.

However, Christopher Glenn Osmond recently opened up about what it is like to have not only a famous father but famous relatives and the weight it placed on his shoulders.

Christopher Glenn Osmond Admitted to Feeling the Pressure That Came with His Family Name

Christopher decided to pursue a career in the music industry in high school after watching his father's success throughout the '90s. He learned to play the piano and took voice lessons. He also played in multiple bands, DJ'd local parties in his hometown, and participated in school plays.

However, over the years, he learned that his true passion was post-production audio engineering, writing, and composing music. Following his internship at Disney's animation studios in Burbank, California, he worked as a Sound Effects Editor on "The Story Trek" from 2015 to 2016.

That same year, Christopher held the same position on "Hole in the Rock Expedition" and "Studio C" in 2017 and amassed thousands of followers on Instagram.

Despite his success after following in his father's footsteps, he revealed that coming from a famous family applied a lot of pressure on his shoulders growing up, as he said:

"I was making all this music in my closet, you know, and never really wanted to get out and perform because I felt, 'How am I going to measure up to this? How am I going to fit in his shoes?'"

Christopher Glenn Osmond Opened Up About His Struggle with Anxiety

In a podcast in May 2023, Christopher revealed he had struggled with anxiety and panic attacks. He added that he didn't know if it was something that ran through his family and his famous dad and other family members experienced or if it resulted from his life stresses.

Regardless, the musician revealed how "rough" his struggles with anxiety and panic attacks were and how they stemmed from the pressure he felt having such a legendary father.

Christopher Glenn Osmond Is Also a Father

In 2017, Christopher and his wife Alta said "I do" at El Matador Beach in California. In 2019, his wife celebrated the couple's second anniversary and revealed in part:

"Two degrees later, two dogs later, two jobs later, three states later, TWO YEARS LATER! Happy Anniversary to my best friend and better half!"

Christopher and his wife welcomed their first child, Aussie Rae Osmond, at 9:28 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. The musician's first daughter weighed six pounds and fifteen ounces, and Alta shared:

"We are overwhelmed with love and gratitude and so so so happy to have our little Aussie girl here. We love her so much!"

Alta turned to Instagram again on March 11, revealing that she was 24 weeks pregnant with her and Christopher's second child and is yet to learn the gender. Danny Osmond welcomed five sons during his marriage and has become a grandfather to a whopping 14 grandchildren at the time of writing.
