Daniel Radcliffe Welcomed a Baby Boy – He Admits He Would Work Less to Be with His Son
Daniel Radcliffe is a first-time father to a baby boy, whom he shares with his long-time girlfriend, Erin Darke. The actor revealed he may work less to focus on being a dad and spending time with his family.
Daniel Radcliffe is now a proud father to a healthy baby boy. In April, the "Harry Potter" star welcomed his first child with his girlfriend, Erin Darke. The couple held back on announcing their baby's gender until a few months after.
The actor enjoys each fatherhood moment, although he admits it can sometimes be chaotic. Fortunately, he shares the responsibility with a fantastic woman he praised in an interview.

Radcliffe and Darke have been in a romantic relationship for a decade. They first met on the set of "Kill Your Darlings," where their characters had a brief fling. Their relationship has since grown, especially now as parents.
Still acting in show business, Radcliffe may take on less work to be with his son. "I was always going to take some time off," he said. "I'm able to kind of just be here with him a lot, which is lovely."

The doting dad now considers his son when taking on projects and may be more selective in the next few years. However, he has no plans of leaving the industry.
News of Radcliffe's baby's birth first circulated in April 2023, when he was spotted pushing a stroller in New York with Darke following behind. The actor dressed casually, shielding his face with a facemask and a baseball cap.

Radcliffe has yet to share more about his son and his experience as a father. However, he previously disclosed his thoughts about having his children join the entertainment industry. According to the child star, he wouldn't recommend fame for his kid.
Still, he believes that acting is an art and form of expression, which is excellent for young ones. "It taught me so much about myself and others – about empathy and connection and being present," he said. "But still, I wouldn't want fame for my kid."

Radcliffe began his career before reaching his teenage years. While it brought him many opportunities, it also took much of his time.
At 19, Danielle Radcliffe lost his beloved grandmother. He was in New York at that time and couldn't be by her side. He missed the funeral to fulfill his obligation as a stage actor on Broadway.
