In breaking news, a representative for Rudy Farias, a Texas boy who was reported missing by his mother eight years ago, has revealed unbelievably horrific details about the unspeakable ways he was abused at the hands of his mother.

According to community activist and Farias' advocate, Quanell, Farias detailed the shocking treatment he endured to detectives after being separated from his mom, which Quanell spoke to the press about afterward.

Quanell divulged how Farias was tragically held captive by his mom over the course of the eight years that she reported him as missing. The boy's mom had been drugging him and physically as well as sexually abusing him during the years that she kept him locked away at home.

As Quanell spoke to media outlets, he expressed how he took breaks between his conversation with Farias as he struggled to hold back tears while listening to the gruesome stories Farias was telling them. Quanell disclosed:

"That young man's body has scars all over it. He said she often locked him in a room, [and] that she would give him drugs... This young boy was not kidnapped by some strangers... this isn't the case."

While the exact date of when Farias was found at the Church last week is not clear or confirmed, Quanell states that he was found with his mother's credit card, which had been issued two years ago. According to Quanell, Farias had tried to escape in 2015 but returned to his home two days later.

His mother, Janie Santana, reportedly threatened that he would get in trouble with authorities and potentially go to jail if he ever tried to run away again.

After his initial attempt to run away, Santana forced Farias to hide inside the home whenever investigators would come by. Farias complied because he was terrified of getting in trouble. While tearing up and getting extremely emotional, Quanell exposed the fact that Santana would allegedly force Farias to sleep in the same bed with her and force him to engage in inappropriate and lewd acts:

"She would cross his boundaries when he would shower. He ran away this time because he was tired... I have never in my life heard of a mother doing to a child what this woman did to [her son]."

Outside of the abuse that went on inside the home, Santana would take Farias to work with her and make him perform all the duties that were her responsibility to complete. Farias, now 25, finally decided that enough was enough; he stole his mother's car to get away from her after eight long years.

He was discovered by locals unresponsive in front of a Church, and authorities were called onto the scene afterward. During the press conference where Quanell was addressing the media, someone asked why Farias escaped, to which Quanell responded:

"He said he wanted his own life. His exact words were, 'I was tired of living like a slave. I just want to be free.' "

Santana was questioned by the police, but the status of whether or not she will be charged has not been made clear yet. The Houston Police Department has stated that they will not be commenting on the interview with Farias and his mother or confirming the case's specifics.
