The Chrisley family has never been shy about clapping back at their critics, and this time is no exception. Now, the outspoken patriarch is standing firmly in his daughter's corner as she begins a new chapter of her life.
Todd Chrisley is firing back at critics who have accused his daughter, Savannah Chrisley, of being a gold digger following her whirlwind marriage to her husband, Jason Galanis, 56.

The media personality, 29, also revealed that she and Galanis are expecting their first child together.
Since the announcements last week, Savannah has faced backlash over her husband's fraud history and the couple's age gap. While she has taken to social media to defend her choices in a series of posts, her father has now joined the fight.
Todd rushed to Savannah's defense during an episode of his podcast, "Two Sons & Me," zeroing in on claims that she only married Galanis for his money.
"There was comments today in the press about Savannah's ring, the size of it, that she is engaged to a billionaire because she's a gold digger," Todd began in the Friday, October 30, episode.
His mother, Nanny Faye Chrisley, chimed in and said, "Oh, good. I don't blame her. I'd dig, too. If I knew one and I stood a chance like her, I'd be digging 24/7, till I got him."
After a laugh, Todd continued, "Well, if she was a gold digger, I mean, it would have helped out if she would have started digging when I was paying all these legal fees."

His son, Grayson Chrisley, 20, agreed, saying, "Exactly... They think she wouldn't have done it in the most convenient time."
Galanis is a businessman and former associate of Hunter Biden, having worked with him and his business partner, Devon Archer. In September 2020, he was sentenced to 189 months in prison for multiple securities fraud schemes.
While still behind bars, Galanis testified in the Republican impeachment inquiry into then-President Joe Biden in March 2024. A year later, in March 2025, President Donald Trump commuted Galanis' sentence.
Two months after that, in May 2025, Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, were also pardoned by Trump for tax evasion and bank fraud.
Todd insisted that Savannah is more than capable of providing for herself and has been doing so for years.
"It's so crazy that people would say that she's a gold digger when she has her own money," he said. "What do they think this girl has done her whole life, from the time that the cameras started rolling?"
He went on, "What do they think she did with her clothing line, with her cosmetics, that she didn't make money? What do they think about Good Girl RX? How do they think this woman lives?"

Todd added that Savannah "didn't need a man to subsidize her living" but is "fortunate that she found one that can." He also revealed that the pair crossed paths while Savannah was campaigning for her parents' pardons.
"Now, did she meet Jason in D.C.? Yes. Did she meet him politically? Yes," he explained. "But it didn't have [expletive] to do with our pardons. And maybe he was a gentleman to her. Maybe he was respectful to her."
"Maybe he understood where she had been in her life with her parents because he'd been through it. Maybe there was that common bond or that thread of distinction," Todd continued.
"But regardless of what it was, I've never seen anything but a man who worships the ground my daughter walks on, who is there for every waking moment of her day and her night, who has given her the world, the moon, the stars, and everything around it," he gushed. "And has done so in a respectful and kind way."
