Gaëlle Piétri was the partner of the late Gaspard Ulliel though they parted ways before his death. Following his passing due to a ski accident in January 2022, she raised their son, Orso, while honoring the French actor's memory.

Gaëlle Piétri is a French model and actress known for appearing in "The Smurfs 2," "King Guillaume," and "Duval et Moretti." She and Gaspard Ulliel got together after meeting in 2013 and welcomed their son in 2015.

Gaspard Ulliel was also an actor. He was most famous for "Hannibal Rising." He was also in "It's Only the End of the World," Disney Plus's "Moon Knight," and "Saint Laurent." Sadly, he passed after a ski accident in January 2022.

The talented beauty has been featured in several fashion magazines and has done television ads for Dim, Diesel, Carte Noire Coffee, and Bourjois. She was involved in the modeling industry for 15 years and eventually met Gaspard.

They started dating in 2013 and were in a long-term relationship, although they were never officially married. Still, they welcomed their son, Orso, on November 9, 2015, but they revealed his name to the public several months later.

In 2023, the model published a book in his honor titled "Le Temps de te dire Adieu," which translates to "Time to say goodbye." She wrote about remembering the incredible joy during the worst times in the book. She called Gaspard the "most beautiful trip" and added:

"Your presence and your absence converge in my heart. I now know that I can always find you within me. This is up to us."

The couple separated four years after the birth of their son, and it felt like a "death" to Gaëlle, but after his passing, she realized how different it was. The model explained:

"The first time, I felt like a death at the separation. Finally, this separation was like a preparation for his death because it was extremely violent. But indeed, when you really experience mourning, you realize that it had absolutely nothing to do with a death. Even if I was collapsed at the separation, there is only death that really cuts life in two."

Their Son Used to Ski with His Father

Gaspard Ulliel, who worked with actors like Oscar Isaac, Anthony Hopkins, Kevin McKidd, and Ethan Hawke, was only 37 when he was rushed to the hospital after sustaining a head injury during an accident at La Rosière ski resort in Savoie, an Alpine department of France.

Gaëlle had posted a video on Instagram of their son skiing on his sixth birthday just a few days before the incident, prompting many condolence messages from fans and followers worldwide.

Despite being separated, the model constantly posted about Gaspard and her son. In March 2020, she added a black and white picture with the caption, "True, Pure & Unconditional LOVE." In most of those posts, Gaëlle calls her son "Amour de ma vie" or "the love of my life."
