Jessica Simpson started her career as a top-charting pop singer but eventually ventured into fashion. She is no stranger to Hollywood's glitz and glamour life, but now the singer is looking to spend time outside of Hollywood.

Simpson has reportedly temporarily rented a house in Nashville, and a break from the paparazzi-filled Hollywood has been treating her and her family well.

The fashion designer said, "Being in Nashville, even my kids are like, 'You laugh the whole time. You're so happy.'" Simpson reckons the constant joy she has been experiencing comes from letting her guard down, not feeling watched, and being around like-minded people.

The actress has been enjoying quiet time with her children, Maxwell Drew, Ace Knute, Birdie Mae, and her husband, Eric Johnson.

Jessica Simpson Received Backlash for How Her 11-Year-Old Daughter Dressed

Simpson posted a picture of her and her daughter. The "I Wanna Love You Forever" singer wore a short pink strapless dress with metallic heels, while her daughter wore a full denim look with a cropped tube top, a long denim skirt, and chunky boots.

While the mother and daughter proudly showed off their outfits, people in the comment section were not pleased with how the singer allowed her pre-teen to dress.

"Why in the hell would you let your child dress like that is beyond me!!" proclaimed a fan. But many more shared the same sentiments insinuating that Simpson was "sexualizing" her child.

People thought it was inappropriate for her daughter to already be dressing like that when she had not even reached her teenage years. Another commenter said the singer should speak to a therapist to understand how wrong it was to allow her daughter to wear such clothes.

As a mother, Simpson has also urged her children to let go of any insecurities about their bodies because how they feel about themselves matters more than anything.

Even though she shared the reason for her weight loss, the comments have not stopped. In one Instagram post, people said the actress looked old because she had lost too much weight.

"She needs to stop losing weight," remarked a netizen, while another added, "I am sorry, but this doesn't even look like her." People said she looked "scary" and "unrecognizable" and that her weight was unhealthy.
