Man Destroys Neighbor's Rose Garden after the Latter Harassed Him over a Lost Legal Dispute

SA rose bush became the object of a man's revenge plan when his neighbor made his life miserable. The neighbors had been feuding for a while because of a dog fight, and one day, one of the men got his revenge.

A man who had issues with his neighbor hatched a revenge plan that would not implicate him but would be satisfying to witness as his neighbor grappled with what was happening to him and why.

The original poster (OP) shared his story on social media, saying his problems with his neighbor had begun many years before when his neighbor's dog gained access to his yard and his dog attacked it.

Although the OP didn't feel he was in the wrong as his neighbor's dog was off lead and in his garden, he paid half the dog's vet bills after his neighbor filed a lawsuit against him. The judge quickly threw the case out of court, saying the OP had done nothing wrong. After that, the neighbor became bitter.

What Did The OP's Neighbor Do?

After a judge confirmed that the OP was not in the wrong and had done his neighbor a favor by paying his dog's vet bills, the neighbor became angry and started doing things to the OP and his family to get back at them.

Every garbage day, the OP would find his garbage cans tipped over. The OP's neighbor also called the cops on the OP's children for riding another neighbor's child's mini bike and would flip the OP off every time he drove past his house.

The neighbor's lawyer then sent the OP a letter saying that he would no longer contact the family and stay away from them for two years, which led to the OP dropping the legal charges. However, he admitted:

The OP confessed that because he had not responded to his neighbor's antics in any way, he had an unresolved desire to get revenge. Eventually, he thought of a way to do this without being caught.

How Did the OP Get Revenge?

One day, as the man walked through the hardware store, some Japanese Beetle traps caught his eye. The traps are stored in plastic bags with a scent pack to which the beetles are drawn. The idea was to have the beetles fall in and not be able to get back out.

The OP explained that his neighbor had a large rose garden in front of his house, where he spent much time and energy. He then mused:

"Japanese Beetles love roses."

The OP bought four refill packages of the scent packs and put them in the freezer overnight to extract the wax on which the scent was placed. He awoke at three a.m. the next day to execute his revenge plot.

He placed the wax into the man's rose garden, hid it with mulch, and waited for the plot to come to life. By 11 a.m. that day, the sun was beating down on the neighborhood, and the man knew the wax scent packs must have melted.

Soon after, he saw a couple of Japanese Beetles descend in the garden. Later, he thought there must have been "hundreds, if not thousands," of Japanese Beetles in his neighbor's rose garden.

Four days later, the beetles had decimated the rose garden, and the neighbor had no idea where the beetles had come from. The OP laughed as he watched it unfold and never told anyone, not even his wife, what he had done. The OP clarified that his neighbor's garden had been restored to its former glory and would remain as long as he stayed away from the OP's family.
