Esther Nazarov: Her Life before & after She Became Fred Durst’s Ex-wife

Esther Nazarov has blossomed into a successful business owner and family woman following her divorce from singer Fred Durst. The former couple said "I do" during a private ceremony but it lasted only a few months.

In 2009, Fred Durst, best known for being the frontman of the musical group The Limp Bizkit, felt like the happiest man in the world after revealing that he and Esther Nazarov were engaged. Unfortunately, it only took a few months for the former couple's marriage to run its course.

Following their seeming amicable decision to separate — with Fred Durst noting that the couple stayed "positive" during their divorce — Esther Nazarov has since found love again. She has also found a way to balance life as a working mother.

Esther Nazarov and Her Ex-husband Were Married for Three Months

Durst was already a father of two — he had a daughter, Adriana, and a son, Dallas — when he took to Twitter in April 2009 to announce his and Nazarov's engagement.

The singer admitted to feeling like "the happiest man alive" since finding a love like he'd never known before and revealed that the couple was set to tie the knot in July.

The pair officially became Mr. and Mrs. in front of their friends and family during a private ceremony in Las Vegas, where Nazarov swapped her Neil Lane engagement ring for a diamond and platinum wedding band.

After saying "I do," Nazarov and her husband celebrated their marriage and becoming "one and complete" at a Prime Steakhouse and enjoyed a performance from Cirque de Soleil.

Fred Durst Cited 'Irreconcilable Differences' as the Cause of His Divorce from Esther Nazarov

Later in 2009, Nazarov and her ex-husband's marital bliss was over for good. Durst took to social media to confirm that they had split. And much like the short-lived marriages also experienced by Kim Kardashian, Drew Barrymore, and Pamela Anderson; theirs had lasted a few short months.

According to reports, Nazarov's ex-husband claimed that "irreconcilable differences" led to the demise of their marriage, as the couple had been at odds for a while before deciding to end their relationship.

The happy couple have welcomed three children.

However, Durst revealed there was no bad blood between him and his ex-wife, sharing in a tweet that the former couple remained "very positive" during their divorce and wished "only the best for each other."

What Has Esther Nazarov Been up to since Her Divorce from Fred Durst?

After spending many years in Los Angeles, Nazarov returned to her home state of New York and went into business with her sister. In honor of their father, Charlie, the siblings founded Charlie's Home Fashion, a home decor business with multiple locations. Nazarov shared:

"I'm so excited, and it just felt right [...]. We are so happy to be open."

Nazarov also went into business with her new husband in 2021, when the happy couple took over Minnetonka Orchard, a company with a legacy of apple donuts, weddings, special events, and festivities since 1976.

The happy couple have welcomed three children. According to her company's website, Nazarov — whose birthday falls on August 9 — lives in Palo Alto with her husband and children.
