Ozzy Osbourne was diagnosed with a genetic condition called Parkin, a form of Parkinson's disease. Speaking about it in August 2022, the rock star revealed that he doesn't shake like Parkinson's disease sufferers.
His doctor confessed to having seen all kinds of Parkinson's but that the singer's condition was the mildest one ever. The artist admitted to being unsure how anyone even figured out he had the disease in the first place.

The illness isn't the only medical issue he's struggled with because, for the past three years, Ozzy's been battling with the aftermath of a previous spinal injury. The first time he had surgery for it, doctors told him he had a "good chance" of being paralyzed for the rest of his life.

After the procedure, he was left agonizing, but in 2022, the star had two more operations that helped him to be where he wished to be. His last surgery was in June 2022, when he only stayed in the hospital for a night compared to the first one, where things did not go as smoothly.

Sadly, his ailments have left him unable to work, and in February 2023, he canceled his May 2023 European tour and all his upcoming shows, saying his body is "physically weak." The last time he toured was in December 2018 — his farewell tour at Inglewood's Ozzfest.
In July 2023, the rock music singer revealed that he wouldn't perform in October 2023's Power Trip festival in California because his body told him he wasn't ready. That same month, he shared how he was "battling through" his health issues after having a filter removed from his artery.

The Osbourne family will be turning a new chapter on September 12, 2023, when their "The Osbournes Podcast" returns after being away for five years. It will comprise of 20 episodes starring Ozzy, his wife, Kelly, and her brother, Jack.
