Rule 1: Never Leave Her Daughter Alone with a Male

There are no exceptions to Audrey's number one rule: never leaving her young daughter alone with a male. Whether it's a grandfather, an uncle, or a cousin, she won't allow her daughter to hang out with males unattended.

"No sleepovers, not even with family members. And she will never be left alone with a male. I don't care if you're the grandparent, the uncle, or the cousin," she said.

As for who she'd allow to care for her kids on days she needs to go out, the mom said there's only one person she trusts 100%, and that's her mother, who raised her.

Rule 2: Her Kids are Treated Equally

Audrey chooses not to treat her daughter differently than her son. She said that the rules she applied to her daughter would also apply to him, an example of which would be their curfews once they're older.

"I'm going to treat them both the same," she revealed. She added that as a parent, she's never going to impose respect on her children – if people don't respect them, they don't have to respect those people either.

Rule 3: Her Kids Need to Be Honest with Her

Audrey believes her kids shouldn't keep secrets from her. She said that if anyone secretly tried to give her kids candy by telling them not to tell mom, that was a surefire way for the kids never to see you again.

She also said that her kids aren't obliged to hug, kiss, or sit on relatives' laps because they asked them to. Audrey acknowledges that her kids have opinions and emotions that they're entitled to.

Apart from her rules, Audrey also lives by certain habits. She gives her children "mental health days," where she helps them regulate their emotions.
