In September 2023, Millie Bobby Brown appeared on "Today with Hoda & Jenna," discussing various topics, including her wedding plans. The "Stranger Things" star is set to marry Jacob "Jake" Bongiovi, one of Jon Bon Jovi's children.

During her interview, Millie revealed that planning her wedding hasn't been stressful, unlike how other people experienced it. She noted that her fiancé was involved in everything.

The "Nineteen Steps" author shared how she hasn't felt alone in the planning. She said it would be an "intimate" day for them, and they are both "very excited." When Hoda Kotb questioned if Jacob's father would perform at the event, Millie said it was equivalent to asking her if she could do a full-on play, adding:
"I think the man needs a break. He doesn't stop."

The actress said Jon is always busy playing tennis or giving singing lessons and needs to take some time off. She joked that maybe the famous artist only needs a three-hour break and be allowed to be the groom's father on their special day.

In 2022, at 60, Jon spoke about health when he confessed that he'd previously suffered from mental health issues. The singer said from around 2013 and for three years, he felt like the "weight of the world" was on his shoulders.

The feeling haunted him after guitarist Richie Sambora suddenly left their rock 'n roll band, Bon Jovi, after being together for 30 years. After retiring, Jon's band argued with their record label, but luckily, he got through the stress with the assistance of his wife, Dorthea Hurley.

It wasn't the first time the star battled depression because, in 1991, he contemplated jumping out of his car on the Pacific Coast Highway due to the severity of his pain. Ironically, he was on his way to see a psychologist then and refused to delve deeper into what was happening.
In October 2021, he was left "humbled" after contracting COVID-19. Jon's fans recently saw a clip of the musician exercising and agreed with Millie about the star needing some time off.
