In a world where the pressure to look perpetually young can be overwhelming, Collins chooses to embrace natural beauty. With her green eyes sparkling like gemstones, bright red lips, and an age-defying complexion, she radiates an undeniable charm. But what's her secret? According to Collins, it's a straightforward routine that doesn't involve needles or scalpels.

She emphasizes that her pristine skin is the result of a regimen passed down from her mother. Collins proudly declares, "I couldn't do all that. First of all, I'm needle-phobic. It was my mother who told me to moisturize and use night cream." This sage advice has been passed on to her daughters, who also enjoy fabulous skin.

Yet, Collins's journey in Hollywood wasn't always paved with compliments and admiration. She recalls a time when she faced verbal abuse on a daily basis. In the unforgiving world of Tinseltown, the makeup department wasn't always a place of camaraderie. "They had all sorts of horrible names for me," she recounts.

"Moonface" due to her baby fat and "Spindly Legs" because of her slender limbs were among the unkind monikers bestowed upon her. Ironically, at the tender age of 18, Collins was voted the most beautiful girl in England by a photographers' association. When the newspapers sought her father's opinion, he expressed his amazement, saying, "She's a nice-enough-looking girl, but nothing special."

A couple of years later, when Collins was 22, "The Girl in the Red Velvet Swing" director Richard Fleischer saw her with no makeup on and called her "ugly."

In 2022, Collins found herself at the center of a cosmetic surgery discussion sparked by her longtime friend, Jane Seymour. Seymour claimed that she was one of the few Hollywood actresses who hadn't undergone any cosmetic procedures.

This exchange came after Seymour's statement that she had never resorted to cosmetic surgery, despite previously admitting to breast implants at the age of 40. Speaking to the Daily Express, Seymour remarked, "I am unusual in Hollywood in not having any work done, I only know one other actress who hasn't had it - though she might have now!"

Setting the Record Straight

Collins, perhaps thinking the comments were directed at her, took to Instagram to assert that she was one of "many" stars who have chosen to remain natural. Collins, however, clarified that while she had experimented with Botox in the past, the experience was far from pleasant. "I had it once in my forehead, and it hurt like hell," she admitted.

When asked if she's offended when people assume she's had work done, Collins replied that she's not. She has always maintained an unwavering commitment to taking good care of her skin and wearing makeup.

As she continues her journey into her 90s, Collins's routine remains refreshingly simple. She is unafraid to reveal her "un-done" self to her husband, Percy, who sees her as a beautiful angel. Her skincare routine consists of eye drops, French sunscreen, and moisturizer. A touch of lipstick is a must for any outing, and she frequently moisturizes her face throughout the day.

Despite the assumptions, Collins sets the record straight: she hasn't undergone extensive cosmetic procedures. She proudly states, "I have not. I haven't had Botox, I haven't had any tweakments, I haven't had fat injections, and honestly, when I look at the women who have, it appalls me."
