During an interview in 2015, Tonioli was asked to clarify whether he had really married a man named Jason in 2012 as his Wikipedia page reportedly says. However, the dance judge quickly set the record straight.

He said, "What? "Are you having me on? I don't even know a Jason." Tonioli revealed that the only person he knew with the name Jason was actor Jason Statham, whom he had met on a flight to Los Angeles.

Because of his sexuality, people labeled him different names, like queer, which the "DWTS" judge admitted was the worst thing one could be called back in the day in Italy.

The TV personality, who seemed to be in a good mood, was photographed placing his hand on Law as the two entered the restaurant. In 2017, the two also attended a red-carpet events side by side.

Tonioli and Law were present at an evening Gala performance of "Matthew Bourne's Cinderella" at Sadler's Wells Theater in London. The two posed for a photo alongside model Jackie St. Claire. A year later, the couple was seen at the European premiere of "Mary Poppins Returns" at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The pair, who reportedly met in Mykonos, had wide smiles as they posed for a photo. Tonioli held Law by his waist, and Law placed his hand on Tonioli's shoulder, showcasing their affection for each other.

In 2017, Law reportedly spent the weekend at Tonioli's apartment in Los Angeles, waiting for the flamboyant judge to return home from his demanding job. At the time, Law had dismissed the relationship rumors, claiming that he and Tonioli were just friends, but his close friends revealed the two were an item.

Bruno Tonioli Opened Up about His Sexuality

Tonioli knew he was different at the age of ten. He said that while his mates were showing interest in football, he only wanted to watch musicals and see art. Tonioli recalled how scared he was being the only gay in his village.

Tonioli is private about his love life. In contrast to many who have celebrity crushes, he stated that he has never had one. He humorously added that he would prefer to go for a plumber instead.

In 2013, Tonioli discussed his career and the possibility of retirement in the future. Despite primarily working between the UK and the US, he expressed uncertainty about the future. However, he mused that having a villa in Sicily or the Bay of Taormina could be tempting and hard to resist as a potential retirement destination.
