'90s boy band *NSYNC has returned with a new track for an animated movie. The group sent fans into a frenzy with the new song and a recent reunion at an award ceremony.

The members' surprise appearance stunned many of their beloved fans as they were met with screams from the crowd. Fatone spoke about the experience at the '90s Con in Florida, saying:
"[...] It was surreal in the sense of we kind of just stepped back from each other. [...] We fell into place."
Even multi-Grammy Award-winning singer Taylor Swift, who accepted the Moon Person from the band on stage, was excited to see the fivesome.
She curiously asked the bandmates whether they would be working on new music. It turns out the vocal group was working on something together.

Following their reunion on stage at the music awards, *NSYNC has shared several posts on social media celebrating their reunion. They released their first new song after over twenty years, called "Better Place," on September 29, 2023.
The song, which the group started teasing in August 2023, serves as the soundtrack for the upcoming film, "Trolls Band Together." It features a disco-pop beat, and every member gets to have their moment as Timberlake carries the chorus.

The "SexyBack" hitmaker shared a clip of the band announcing the release of their new song on Instagram, and he captioned the post, "BETTER PLACE IS OUT! WE HOPE YOU LIKE IT."
Timberlake teased a band reunion in September, sharing a video of the group in the elevator laughing together while dressed to the nines in multi-colored suits. The songwriter penned that it was only five gentlemen in an elevator.
That same month, he posted a clip of him and his bandmates in the studio and penned, "When the stars align… got my brothers back together in the studio to work on something fun and the energy was special."
Fans have since reacted to the band's new song on their YouTube page and raved about it, including the fact that they came together to make new music.
One YouTube user commented, "Love this song! So glad to hear NSYNC's amazing vocals after all these years. “ "[…] They have a sound like no other," added another person.

Someone else wrote, "This feels like a dream hearing their 5 voices in one song again. It’s been decades." One person expressed gratitude, writing, "Thank you for giving us an awesome song! Can't stop listening to it."
Meanwhile, someone said, "[…] Their harmonies are still as crisp and gorgeous as ever and this song is just pure joy. Hoping this is just the beginning and will lead to a new album and tour."
Four of Five Band Members Are Now Proud Parents
A lot has happened in the band members' lives since the last time they recorded music together before this reunion. Four of them are now family men. Timberlake has two sons, Silas and Phineas, with his wife, Jessica Biel, whom he married in 2012. The couple welcomed their first child, Silas, in April 2015 and their second, Phineas, in 2020.
Meanwhile, Bass is also a father of two. He and his husband, Michael Turchin, share twins, daughter Violet and son Alexander, who will turn two in October 2023.
Another bandmate with two children is Fatone. He shares his two daughters, Briahna and Kloey, with his former wife, Kelly Baldwin, and once admitted that being a parent is hard.
As for Kirkpatrick, he is a father of one. His only child, son Nash, whom he welcomed with his wife Karly Skladany, was born in October 2017. Notably, Chasez is the only band member without kids.
