Meg Ryan has been enjoying her life out of the spotlight. But the actress was recently spotted shopping in New York, and fans were concerned about her "weird walk."

Meg Ryan, the actress known for her iconic acting roles in films like "Rich and Famous," and "Top Gun," opened up about her experience with fame.

While she is known for her roles in several romantic films, she has also had a few flops, like the erotic thriller "In the Cut." But that did not tone down her fame, which she struggled to grapple with.

As such, the actress chose to slowly disappear from the big silver screens and live a quieter life. She, however, did not leave the industry entirely and still worked behind the camera, making her directorial debut in the 2015 film, "Ithaca."

Actors often speak of their roles as a way of working through feelings. When asked if she felt the same way, Ryan agreed. She said through acting, she found herself living multiple lives in a short period.

But the fame that came with it also made her feel lost, both in who she was personally and professionally. The actress compared the feeling to being in a fancy car with no faults but so closed off that you cannot hear anything from the outside.

As much as she appreciated the perks of fame, she confessed that it was not healthy for her brain, her soul, and who she is as a person. Ryan did not like how she felt limited in the experiences she could have as a famous person.

Meg Ryan’s Rare Public Appearances

Ryan was recently spotted out shopping in New York. She let out her famous blonde wavy hair and wore an all-black outfit. She had on a black skirt with an oversized T-shirt and black sneakers. However, the video of her walking into an establishment worried fans.

People thought the actress had a "weird walk" and wondered if she wore orthopedic shoes. "Her walk appears unsteady. She looks disheveled," remarked a commenter. In another photo of Ryan, another concerned fan said, "When you zoom in, you notice something strange on one of her legs."

Fans hoped Ryan was doing well health-wise, while others also wondered if the 61-year-old was injured. Some internet users explained that she had hip problems and that an injury was also possible.

However, other netizens came to her defense and said Ryan had always walked like that. Some fans said her walk was "adorable" and that she looked happy.

But as Ryan lives outside the limelight, she is mostly seen spending quality time with her children. The actress is a mother of two. She shares her son, Jack, with her ex-husband, Dennis Quaid, and has an adopted daughter, Daisy.
