Kidman Was Born into a Catholic Family
Oscar-award-winning actress Nicole Kidman is not going back as far as her faith is concerned. On Sunday, the actress was spotted with her husband, Keith Urban, and one of their daughters dressed up and attending church. They all radiated elegance, with their outfits making a statement.
Kidman didn't fail to show her unique sense of fashion; the Australian-American actress looked stunning in a long black dress paired with black and silver sandals.
Kidman, whose hair was impeccably styled, complimented her look with a stylish beige bag and cute black sunglasses. Her husband also exhibited a sense of style, wearing a checked shirt, navy blue pants, and distinctive sneakers.
Their daughter wore a patterned sleeveless dress in a color that matched her dad's shirt. She completed her look with a pair of white sneakers and socks. Unlike her mother, she did not carry a bag and opted for gold jewelry.
Kidman was born into an Irish Catholic family and has remained committed to her faith. She treasures her Christian values and wears a diamond-studded crucifix, a cherished gift from her grandmother, which she rarely removes.

Nicole Kidman Once Thought of Becoming a Nun
The actress previously mentioned contemplating becoming a nun. Even though her journey took a different direction, she said she was very much drawn to it. Nevertheless, her faith remains a steadfast part of her life.
Kidman strongly believes in God and isn't afraid to show it or say it out loud. She once said:
"A lot of my friends tease me."
However, she remains unshaken. While the actress said her husband has his own beliefs, they both decided to raise their children with Christian values and attend church as a family.
Kidman's Catholic upbringing, particularly her grandmother's influence, left a significant imprint. She was nurtured knowing the value of prayer and hopes to instill some of what she learned from her grandmother to her children. However, the celebrated actress clarified that she isn't raising her children to be afraid to question their faith.

Despite Kidman's bold and curious nature, she values tolerance and hopes that judgment will not play a role in her life. Her father's words about the importance of tolerance have also left a lasting impact on the actress' life.

But this is not the first time the actress has been spotted attending church. In February 2021, Kidman was seen attending a church service in Sydney. The actress, who was not in the company of her husband or children, looked stunning in a gorgeous outfit.
