Moore on Body Image

In a January 2012 interview, Moore spoke openly about body image when asked how she felt about her physical appearance. The "General Hospital" alum revealed:

"I have had a love-hate relationship with my body. [...] Struggling with my weight and feeling I couldn't eat what I wanted to eat."

During the interview, the "Ghost" star admitted she still loves junk food such as French fries and cake. "Sweet and savory," said Moore, who further stated:

"I think I sit today in a place of greater acceptance of my body."

The mother of three has embraced her body changing as she ages, which became "extremely thin" at some point, and someone said to her, "You're too thin, and you don't look good."

But irrespective of that, Moore is grateful that her body has allowed her to give birth to her daughters, Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout Willis, to explore several roles within her acting career and has made her "stronger."

Moore, who is regarded as an icon, turned 60 years old on November 11, 2022, and she divulged in a July interview that same year that embracing her age was "liberating."

The "Striptease" star, designing a swimwear collection for a brand and modeling her creations at the time, disclosed what she looked forward to most as she marked the milestone. Moore explained she looked forward to not being "defined" by a number but by her experience instead, as she felt "more alive and present than ever."
