Kurt Russell & Goldie Hawn to Become Grandparents for the 8th Time with New Grandbaby on the Way

Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn's son, Wyatt Russell, are making them grandparents of eight, and the two couldn't be happier. Kurt and Goldie have previously shared about their lives as grandparents.

Parenthood is undoubtedly one of the most important and beautiful journeys a person can take. However, grandparenthood can equally be as wonderful and fulfilling.

Fortunately, Hollywood icons Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn have the opportunity to be grandparents to their many grandchildren. Soon, they are going to become grandparents to eight kids as Wyatt Russell is set to become a dad of two.

Kurt called grandparenthood "the greatest thing," adding that he loves his grandkids unconditionally. Meanwhile, his son revealed that he sees a whole other side of his parents when they treat their grandchildren because they need not parent the little ones.

Similarly, Goldie enjoys being a grandparent to many grandchildren. All three of her children live nearby, making the family as close-knit as possible. Once, the actress even shared about hosting her grandson's movie night with friends.

Kurt and Goldie did a wonderful job raising their children and teaching them to work hard. Fortunately, their kids also have thriving careers in the entertainment industry as actors. The couple have since passed their wisdom to their grandchildren, teaching them by example. Goldie said:

"You've got to work for a living, stay compassionate, and stay realistic. And I'm passing that on because that was what my father taught me: Stay in reality. Don't get taken away with everything. The rest is up to them."

Their daughter, Kate Hudson, is a successful actress with several on-screen credits under her belt. Meanwhile, their two sons, Oliver and Wyatt, are also on-screen stars.

Wyatt plays another role as a father and is welcoming his second child with his wife, Meredith Hagner, two years after the birth of their first son, Buddy.

The duo, like Kurt and Goldie, met through their jobs while filming for the 2016 film "Folk Hero & Funny Guy." They tied the knot in 2019 in the same place their engagement took place: Colorado.

Wyatt was previously married to Sanne Hamers, a Dutch stylist who worked for the actor's mother, Goldie. After their short-lived marriage, both Wyatt and Sanne moved on and found love again.
