Joseph Jens Price Is Tonya Harding's 'Loving' Husband: Inside Their Relationship

Joseph Jens Price was enjoying a night of karaoke when his future wife, Tonya Harding, spotted him and was immediately drawn to his eyes. The couple has since celebrated over a decade of marriage and welcomed a child.

Tonya Harding's life has often been laced with controversy over the years. However, the former figure skater turned a new leaf after meeting her "loving" husband, Joseph Jens Price, and welcoming a son shortly after the couple tied the knot.

Unlike his famous wife, Joseph Jens Price leads an ordinary life out of the public eye. However, according to the retired sportswoman, he has been a "wonderful" husband all these years.

In 2010, Harding returned to her home in Washington from a work trip in Los Angeles when she decided to visit a local restaurant, Timbers. While having a few drinks with friends, she spotted Price on the karaoke stage singing "Great Ball of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis. The former figure skater said:

"I'm going, 'Damn, he's got beautiful eyes. I mean, the eyes are the center to your soul, okay? You might have a nice butt, but I want to see the eyes."

Within weeks, Harding had proposed to Price and was pregnant with their son. During an interview, Price gushed about his famous wife and revealed, "She's kind. She's loving. She's a little rough around the edges. She's a redneck, but she's my redneck."

The following year after tying the knot, Price and his wife welcomed their son in a Southwest Washington hospital, according to Harding's friend, Don Horn. Horn revealed Price's wife had required a C-section but was stable in hospital.

"She's always wanted a baby. She was told she could never have a child ... and guess what? It really is a miracle and she really is very happy," he added.

In 2012, Harding became emotional while talking about her and Price's little boy and shared, "He's the most wonderful thing in the world. I couldn't imagine my world without him."

On May 21, Price's wife turned to Instagram to celebrate his birthday and typed, "Happy birthday to my loving husband!" August 2020 marked the couple's 10th wedding anniversary, and in honor of the milestone, Harding posted a throwback of the pair and dedicated a sweet message to her husband that read:

"10 years ago today this wonderful man and I shared our vows together! Thank you Joe for always loving me and our son! I love you with all my heart today, always, and forever💞! (sic)"

Price's wife also took to Instagram to celebrate their 12th anniversary and took a trip down memory lane with a photo of them on their wedding day. "Happy anniversary to my loving husband of 12 wonderful years thank you for your love trust and faith in me I love you today tomorrow and always (sic)," the caption read.
