Shawn Johnson is a famous former Olympic gymnast who has left the arena to raise a family. She has two children and is expecting a third sometime this month.

On social media recently, she shared that her son weighed 48 pounds and wore a size 12 shoe. Fans couldn't believe the information, and one questioned her about it in a later Q&A on her Instagram stories.

The fan asked if she was serious when discussing her son's weight and shoe size, which was unbelievable. Johnson responded:

"A lot of these questions, yes. I'm serious. He's just very dense and tall, but yes, he's 48 lbs. And he wears a size 12 shoe. I'm not kidding."

She then said that she loved those questions because it allowed her to share that even though her son was built a certain way, it did not mean he was destined to follow a particular career path.

She reiterated that her son was built like a linebacker, but that didn't mean he had to become one. Johnson confirmed that she and her husband would encourage him to do whatever he loved and wanted when he grew up.

People commenting on the post couldn't believe Johnson's son's size, with one saying their six-year-old daughter weighed less than the toddler and wore a smaller shoe size than him.

Another person said that Johnson's son was as big as a second-grader, and someone else said that because the child's father was tall, he would be expected to grow up to be much the same.

Johnson and her husband, Andrew East, are set to welcome their third bundle of joy soon. Her two children look forward to becoming siblings, and her husband is excited to welcome another family member.

She shared that her husband is a great father and has always been there for their children. Johnson also said she has had a relatively easy pregnancy despite morning sickness in her first trimester.

When asked what she was most excited about regarding this baby, Johnson said she was eager to introduce the new baby to her two children. "I think they will be the greatest, and it'll just be exciting to have that moment where we can share it all together," she gushed.

However, pregnancy has not always been easy for Johnson. She first became pregnant in 2017 and miscarried her baby on October 19 of the same year. Last year, she posted about the tragic date and its meaning to their family.

Johnson shared that when she miscarried her first child, she was heartbroken. However, over a year later, her doctor told her that October 19 was her daughter's due date. Although she still wakes up somber on October 19, she is grateful for her family and says she will meet her baby in heaven one day.
