Three days ago, the son of "M*A*S*H" star Mike Farrell showed off his impressive muscles on his social media account. Michael Farrell, who is 53, posted a photo of himself during a gym workout.
In the photo, Michael poses in a mirror selfie while wearing a blue t-shirt stretching over his bulging biceps. He also wore gray gym shorts as he plugged his ears with his earphones.
His proud 84-year-old father welcomed the blonde muscle man with his late ex-wife and "M*A*S*H" co-star Judy Farrell in November 1970. Born as Michael Joshua Farrell, the 53-year-old, whom Mike called his "golden boy," changed his name multiple times when he was old enough. His dad said, "He went through various incarnations over time, from Josh to Michael Josh to MJ to Michael, where it stayed."

The fit muscle man who changed how he was addressed many times faced a devastating time in his life when his mom, who divorced his dad in 1983, sadly passed away at 84 earlier this year. Known for playing Nurse Able in "M*A*S*H," Judy died in a hospital on a Sunday, nine days after a stroke.
Judy's ex-husband went on to remarry Shelley Fabares after ending his first marriage, and at first, Michael and his sister, Erin Farrell, were not all that accepting of their new stepmom. The "Coach" star explained why Michael and Erin had trouble integrating her into their family. She explained, "The divorce was very hard on the kids."

However, Erin and her brother eventually accepted Shelley through patience, love, strength, and courage. They then grew comfortable splitting their time between the two solid and loving households their parents provided.
