Woman Is Told to Divorce Her Husband after Getting Christmas 'Gift' from Him: 'He Treats You like a Servant'

Online users are bothered after learning what a husband considers a Christmas present for his wife. They suggest the woman, who is significantly younger than him, should file for divorce.

Rafal and Iyah are online influencers who are married and often share part of their lives on social media. However, their followers have left harsh comments on their posts over time.

This happened in one of their clips, which Iyah posted in December 2023. In the video, she revealed what her husband considers a present for the special occasion.

Iyah explained that she had gone to the store for two hours, and when she returned, Rafal asked whether she had enjoyed her time. She recalled him saying, "'That was the other half of my Christmas gift,' I'm like, 'Where, what it is?' He says 'Freedom.'" Iyah's husband kissed her and told her he loved her.

Rafal said his wife was gone for hours, and he babysat their daughter, which is how he gave her freedom. "I was home with the baby. The greatest gift of all for a mother," he said in the same clip.

Although Iyah wrote in the caption of the post, "The best gift I could wish for," this rubbed some of the couple's followers the wrong way, as some expressed it was inappropriate for Rafal to say he was babysitting his child.

One user asked Iyah why she seemed okay with Rafal's "gift" because he is responsible for caring for their child. "Find you a new man AT LEAST for your baby," said the TikTok follower. She's his child. You don't babysit your own kids, Babydoll...I got my eye on u. He is creepy," one person expressed.

Someone else commented, "I feel very sorry for you. He treats you like a servant, he doesn't respect you." While another wrote, "This is what happens when old men prey on young women. You hate to see it." One other individual suggested, "Divorce immediately."

Despite the backlash, Iyah and Rafal continue to upload their moments together online. The lovebirds, who are often seen being affectionate with each other, have a baby daughter whom they show off on their online platforms, including TikTok and Instagram.

Iyah and Rafal have a 21-year age difference. She is 24, and he is 45. In a December 2023 Instagram post, Iyah noted how fast time had passed since they met.

She posted a montage of her and her husband and daughter, including throwback photos of the couple when they were still dating and when they got married. "I'm crying. Why does time really fly," she captioned her social upload.

Iyah revealed on the couple's TikTok account that they were renovating their home in November 2023. A month later, she shared it was nearly done, adding they hoped to move in before Christmas while giving their followers a glimpse into the house.

The day before Christmas, Iyah shared a picture of Rafal and their child posing next to a Christmas tree. "MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE. P.S. Tomorrow I am going to spam your feed with lots of adorable pics," she wrote while referring to their followers.

On Christmas Day, the social media star posted a family photo on Instagram, smiling alongside her husband and daughter in front of a decorated Christmas tree. "MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM US," Iyah penned.

Iyah and Rafal's only child has become a constant on their social media. On Thanksgiving in 2023, Iyah shared a family photo featuring her, Rafal, and their child. "Happy Thanksgiving," she wrote alongside a heart emoji.

The doting mother even refers to the couple's daughter as her "best friend." In November 2023, she shared selfie shots with her on Instagram and captioned the post, "My favorite little human."

Iyah has jokingly revealed online that her child seems spoiled. According to her, whenever her father tries to get her to sleep, she cries, which Iyah finds cute.

Iyah is a stay-at-home mom and considers that her career. In a video on TikTok, she disclosed that people always ask her why she had a child so young, got married so young, and married someone older than her. The mother of one has also been asked about college and work. In response, she said:

"I've literally dreamed of this my entire life. I've always only wanted to be a stay-at-home mom and wife. I've never dreamt of a career. This is my career, staying at home. I don't want to work. [...] My life is great."

Iyah has also had to respond to her follower's comments about her spouse. Others wrote that she has given Rafal complete control of her life and that "his sarcasm speaks volumes."

She shared a clip responding to the comment and agreed that she did while explaining, "We both have complete control over each other because we're married."

While recording the video, Rafal appeared and said Iyah is a free woman who does whatever she likes when she feels like it. He also mentioned that he has been sarcastic since he was born.
