Joan Collins had the public divided in their opinions of her recent appearance with her husband. People made comments about whether or not the star had gotten plastic surgery.

Hollywood legend Dame Joan Collins, 90, set the red carpet of the 75th Primetime Emmys ablaze with her dazzling dress. Collins, who dressed up in a sequin gown, silk gloves, and extravagant jewels, attended the entertainment event with her husband, Percy Gibson, who wore a black suit and bowtie.

Upon seeing pictures of the actress, who posed with different celebrities, like the CEO of Netflix, Ted Sarandos, many had mixed reactions. Collins sparked differing opinions made by social media users, specifically where her face was concerned.

In this regard, many people said it appeared as though Collins "had tons of surgery," specifically "plastic surgery." Someone who agreed with the cohort of people claiming that she had gotten some work done asserted: "Now THAT'S plastic surgery. She still looks like herself! All half-joking aside, it's quite astonishing."

Another person who read a Daily Mail article about Collins' appearance claimed that she had "plastic surgery and a wig." Despite the outpouring of comments implying Collins had gotten surgery, there were many who defended her against the accusations. One person marveled: "Wow, she looks so natural despite all the plastic surgery claims..." Another social media user explained: "She has always been an advocate of staying out of the sun."

While a person said Collins is "fabulous," someone else pondered, "Maybe she's lying about her age and she's really 60?" In further defense of Collins, another Daily Mail reader reiterated: "She's always been honest about PS, but she's also a devotee of sunscreen too. She never puts her face in the sun without it. Food for thought..."

Joan Collins has also made it clear herself that she has not had any work done. In an interview she did last year, the "Dynasty" star clarified: "I've had nothing done. I couldn't do all that. First of all, I'm needle-phobic. It was my mother who told me to moisturize and use night cream..."

Before appearing at the Emmys together, Collins and Gibson stepped out to an industry summer party in London, where they turned heads. Similar to the outfit she wore for the recent sighting, Collins looked radiant in another shimmering sequin dress, while Gibson looked dapper in a navy suit.

The highly accomplished entertainer, whose career in show business spans over seven decades, and her hugely successful Hollywood producer husband have been married for over 20 years. The couple are still going strong despite their over-30-year age gap.
