Arnold Schwarzenegger found himself entangled in legal proceedings after failing to declare a high-end watch upon his arrival in Munich, Germany. He remained detained by Airport personnel for over two hours.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was detained for hours upon his arrival in Germany from Los Angeles as he did not declare his Audemars Piguet watch. This Swiss luxury timepiece was imported from a non-EU country.

"He did not declare a product. A product that was imported from non-EU countries in order to remain in the EU, and this process applies to everyone," Munich Customs press officer Thomas Meister said. Schwarzenegger himself estimated the watch to be worth around $21,760.

Customs officials already recognized Schwarzenegger upon arrival and asked him to open his bag. Although his belongings were not suspicious, the officers found the high-end watch in his luggage, which led to the ensuing proceedings. Meister revealed that his agency "initiated criminal tax proceedings" because the watch should have been declared upon arrival.

Despite the lengthy procedure and not being requested to complete a declaration form, the ex-California governor responded to all inquiries posed by customs officers. A photo of him in the Airport office made its way to news outlets.

Schwarzenegger also agreed to cover any potential taxes on the undeclared product. Unfortunately, the process took an unusual turn when the customs officers' credit card machine failed to work, leaving them struggling for an hour.

They resorted to bringing the actor to a bank to withdraw cash. Unfortunately, the bank was closed, and the ATM had a withdrawal limit that proved insufficient.

Upon returning to the airport, a new officer brought a functional credit card machine, allowing Schwarzenegger to pre-pay the taxes and continue with his travel.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, now in his late 70s, is still looking lean and healthy. However, as he got older, the actor's body changed. The "Terminator" star revealed that he had already lost most of his muscles and struggled to accept his physique. Looking at himself in the mirror has become a challenge as the body that was once praised in Hollywood is now gone.
