People Share the Creepiest 'Glitch in the Matrix' They've Experienced
There are some experiences that are so unexplainable that it feels like there was a "glitch" in the universe. Here are six of some of the creepiest things people have experienced.
Have you ever had an experience where no one would believe you if you told them? A question on Reddit was posed, "What is the creepiest "glitch in the matrix" you've experienced?" and included some of the most unexplainable events in people's lives. Here are six of the most fascinating stories.
1. Grandma's Pictures
A Reddit user recalled going through some of her dead grandmother's pictures. She found a picture of her husband's mother and put it beside her grandmother's. It was impossible for them to be related, but the women's uncanny resemblance was shocking.

The Redditor clarified that she and her husband were not related and that they got their DNA examined, but that was a moment she never forgot.
2. The Google "Cards" App
A netizen explained that he used an Android phone and had an app called "Google Cards," which would send notifications like "15 minutes to home" if the person was out.

The Redditor got sick of the constant notifications and decided to disable them. But one day, while he was home, a message from the app popped up, reading, "35 minutes to home." He thought it was weird and went back to his settings, but the notifications were still off.
This happened again the next night, and he did the same thing, but nothing had changed. The Redditor named the street showing on his phone, 1st St. & Story, for confidential reasons. But even creepier was that he had never been to the place and did not know where it was.

One day, he and his friend were running errands, and the friend missed a turn. The Redditor asked where they were, and suddenly, another car came from the right side and crashed into them. The wheel was completely ruined, and the car needed to be towed. So the Redditor called his sister to pick them up, and when she asked for his location, he was shocked to find out that the accident had happened on 1st St. & Story.
3. The Reset day
A Redditor recalled a time not long after the tragic 9/11. The Redditor had woken up on a Friday to go to class but was having one of those days where everything was going wrong. A cup broke when reaching into the cupboard, and the netizen tripped over something on the way to the car.
The Redditor ended up being late for class due to a wreck on the way, and while at school, news broke of a bad plane crash. The next day, the OP woke up to a roommate asking if they were skipping class. The OP was even more confused when the roommate said it was still Friday.

It seemed like the days had been reset. The cup that the Redditor broke the day before was not broken. The OP passed the same wreck and had been patiently waiting for updates on the plane, but nothing ever came up. Suddenly, the OP heard a "shoe bomber" was arrested, and to this day, they wonder if the day was miraculously reset.
4. The Accident
This Redditor somehow saw the future. The OP recalled being 18 years old while in the car with his sister and brother-in-law. The couple was in the front while the Redditor sat in the back. The OP recalled dozing off and only opening his eyes to see where they were.

They were at a red light on a busy highway, where they were to turn left. An 18-wheel truck with a black trailer ran the light and swiped the OP's car from the road. The Redditor could see the massive impact the accident had on the car, but when he opened his eyes in panic, he was shocked to still be at the same red light.

But just like in the dream, the exact same truck ran a light, but the OP quickly warned the brother-in-law, and the trailer slightly missed them. The sister and brother-in-law thanked the OP for saving their lives, but they never knew the Redditor had seen the accident happen in his dream just minutes before.
5. The Phone Glitch
Back in the 70s, when the Redditor was about 11 or 12, he remembered his father coming home and announcing that they would be going to King's Island, a newly opened amusement park. He asked his father if his friend Chris could join, and the father said he could only if he paid for himself.

The OP excitedly called Chris, but to his surprise, his friend was already on the line, and when he told him he was just about to call him, Chris said, "I was calling to ask if you'd like to come to King's Island tomorrow, but you have to pay your own way." This meant the phone never rang. The OP and his friend called about the same thing at the same time.
6. The Obituary
This story started with a college assignment. The OP took journalism in college, and one of their assignments was to write an obituary for one of their grandparents. In the case that both grandparents were alive, the students were advised to choose to write about one.

The OP did not like the assignment and waited till the night before to do it. He then called his mother, asking for general information about his grandfather, but had a lecture from his mother for waiting till the last minute to do the assignment.
The two were on the phone at about 10:30. p.m., which was late for the grandfather to still be awake, but the mother called anyway. Shockingly, she had the grandmother frantically pick up the phone, telling her the paramedics were performing CPR on him.

The mother was able to stay with the grandmother on the phone while he was rushed to the hospital, but when they got there, the OP's grandfather was declared dead. The same obituary he would submit for his assignment was used at his grandfather's real funeral.
