TLC's Chilli, 53, Becomes a Grandmother as Her Son Welcomes 1st Child: 'This Is So Crazy'

TLC's Chilli Thomas is now a doting grandmother, as her son Tron Austin and his wife, Jeong Ah Wang, welcome a baby girl into the world. Austin shared intimate moments of his daughter's arrival on social media, marking the beginning of a new legacy for the family.

Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas has recently stepped into a new role as a grandmother. Her son, Tron Austin, and his wife, Jeong Ah Wang, have welcomed into the world a baby girl.

On Instagram, Chilli's son expressed his excitement and gratitude, revealing that their daughter, LUA, was born on March 2, 2024, at 1:59 pm. He shared, "An angel from heaven was born—our beautiful daughter LUA. We are officially parents!!"

The couple was surprised by her early arrival, originally expecting her on March 6. After an early morning water break and a rush to the hospital, their daughter was born via an emergency C-section.

Austin praised his wife's courage, writing, "I am so beyond proud of her bravery and courage to do this so off guard we literally expected 3 more days but God always has his plan first."

The Instagram post included touching photos of their first moments as a family: Austin and Wang in the hospital with their smiling newborn, a close-up of the baby's feet, and their hospital room. One person quickly commented, "Came out w/ that full head of hair too that’s a blessed child."

Amidst the joy, Austin couldn't contain his happiness, stating, "This so crazy yall. [Nothing] can describe this moment right here nothing!!!!!"

Austin's Instagram has become a window into his life's significant milestones. On January 19, 2024, he announced his wife's pregnancy, sharing their anticipation and excitement to start a family.

Austin, who has always been close to his mother, Chilli Thomas, also shared his happiness for her relationship with Matthew Lawrence.
