Woman Blows up the Internet with a Story about What Happened to an Ignorant Woman Who Offended Her Mother on a Cruise

A mother and daughter embarked on a cruise and looked forward to their favorite activity: enjoying live music at the ship's piano bar. However, their peaceful evening was disrupted by a rude guest, leading the daughter into a tense confrontation to defend her mother.

An overprotective daughter almost found herself in big trouble while on a cruise with her mother after another woman insulted her mother in front of her. The daughter took to TikTok to share how it all went down.

Theresa, with the username @littledrownedrat, told the riveting story of how she almost lost her temper while on a cruise. She first explained that she had been on four cruises already, and her favorite person to bring along was her mother, Cindy.

One of their favorite cruise activities, Theresa shared, is visiting the piano bar. She vividly described the setup: a grand piano at the center, surrounded by a bar, with stools around the perimeter and tables and chairs further back. "It's kind of a karaoke, stand-up comedy situation," she explained.

The first night at the piano bar was amazing. Theresa remembered the performer to have one of the most beautiful voices she had ever heard. His singing took them on an emotional journey, and night after night, Theresa and Cindy found themselves eagerly awaiting the performance, ready to be blown away.

However, the third night introduced an unexpected twist to their routine. The evening began beautifully, with the performer captivating the audience as usual. Until one woman came along and started talking nonstop, yelling across the bar, and disrupting the evening for those enjoying the music.

Theresa and other patrons tried to maintain their composure, hoping to ignore the interrupter. One of the women in the audience requested a ballad, and the woman mocked her song choice shouting, "Boo, boring!" and pretended to fall asleep. People continued to pay her no attention, but the singer promised to do one more song before he took a break.

He chose to perform the hit song "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston, which the crowd was excited to hear. As expected, the man's voice was moving, yet, the disruptive woman continued her chatter.

Halfway through the song, the singer changed his key and wanted the entire room to be quiet for it, so he dropped subtle hints like cracking his knuckles and stretching his arms. Everyone in the room got the message except for the one woman who still wouldn't stop talking.

The singer glanced at her as another hint to keep quiet. Everyone in the crowd noticed this awkward moment and started cheering the singer on, as they anticipated this very exciting musical moment that was about to happen.

As they cheered, Theresa could not take the woman’s talking anymore, so she shouted, "Everyone is listening; no one is talking," and immediately the woman knew the comment was directed at her. The woman whipped her hair and said nothing but Theresa was proud to have gotten her to keep quiet.

The performer finished the song and it was as phenomenal as expected, leaving everyone in awe. Theresa then got up to go to the restroom, and suddenly she heard the woman calling her names and pointing her out as the person rude enough to tell her to shut up.

Theresa turned to her mother and said, "Oh, she's mad." Her mother was a bit surprised, but as her daughter was ready to confront her, she said, "Just ignore her, Theresa, she's just being rude." However, Cindy spoke loud enough for the woman to hear her.

The woman turned her head and exclaimed, "I think you are the rude one," followed by an insult. Theresa could not believe her ears. She couldn't believe that this woman had insulted her 67-year-old mother.

"Every good thought, every good intention I had ever had left my body. Flew away into the ocean. My spine straightened. I hopped off my stool," she expressed. Theresa was wearing heels, and standing up, she was able to look down at the woman and immediately asked, "What did you say?" to which she replied, "You heard me."

Theresa was still shocked at the woman’s bravery, so she asked the same question again. The woman started biting her tongue and stated, "Well, you guys are being really disrespectful." This was another shocking statement that got the TikToker angry.

So she made it clear that she was the one being disrespectful and was certain that everyone in the bar, including the performer, would attest to it. "But most importantly, [disrespectful] to my mom," she emphasized.

The woman's eyes widened, and she stayed quiet. "You have been talking the entire time, now you are quiet?" the TikToker asked. The rage she felt did not allow her to let the situation go so she asked the woman to go outside with her.

Theresa was shocked at herself because she had never been in a physical fight, but for some reason, she was ready for all the workout classes she had done to help fight this woman. However, she never took up her offer, but Theresa clarified, "You are not going to look at my mother. You are not going to speak to my mother. Is that understood?" The woman had nothing to say but to simply look down at her phone.

The TikToker was glad she never found herself in cruise jail, but that was not the end of her sweet revenge. On the last night of the cruise, as she and her mother were laughing and talking as they walked down the hallway, they were greeted by sounds of vomit.

They noticed a woman throwing up in a trashcan, and lo and behold, it was the woman from the bar. She looked up at the mother and daughter with vomit covering her mouth, but Theresa felt no remorse. In fact, she reached into her purse and took out her Pepto-Bismol pill, took it in front of her, and said, "Thanks for reminding me, because I get motion sick too. Have a good night," and walked away.
