'General Hospital' Star Robyn Bernard Found Dead in an Open Field: Details

The Riverside County Coroner shared that Robyn Bernard's body was identified using her fingerprints at the scene of her death after deputies attended a call regarding a death investigation on March 12 in the town of San Jacinto, CA. The discovery of her body was in an unusual place.

Bernard's started journey in "General Hospital," where she starred alongside Jacklyn Zeman and was one that resonated with many and earned her a special place in the hearts of daytime television viewers, came after she carved out a space for herself in the entertainment industry, securing roles in '80s TV shows such as "Diva," "The Facts Of Life," "Simon & Simon," and "Tour of Duty."

Her most significant career milestone came when she joined the cast of "General Hospital" in 1984, stepping into the world of Port Charles as Terry Brock, a role she embraced for 145 episodes until 1990. Although her final credited acting role was in 2002, as a psychologist in the film "Voices From the High School," Bernard's legacy within the soap opera community remains indelible. Before this, the star had a few smaller parts and was a regular on "One Life to Live," where she played Lana McClain until 1977.

Zeman finally scored her ultimate role in "General Hospital" later that year. On the soap, she played the mother of Laura Wright's Carly Corinthos, the late B.J. Jones, and Lucas Jones, with her onscreen grandchildren being Eden McCoy's Josslyn Jacks, Chad Duell's Michael Corinthos, Donna Corinthos, and the late Bryan Craig's Morgan Corinthos.
