Back in 2018, Woods shared insights into the demanding fitness regimen that characterized his prime years. His routine began with a four-mile run in the morning, followed by a weight training session.

Afterward, he would dedicate two to three hours to hitting balls and then fine-tune his short game. Often, he would conclude his workouts with another four-mile run and occasionally engage in basketball or tennis for additional conditioning.

"My first few years on tour, I ran a ton. I loved running. I absolutely loved it. I ran close to 30 miles a week every week, and it was just my mental release but also, then again it fed into my legs," Tiger reminisced.

Though never the most physically imposing figure on the golf course, Tiger's legs were a cornerstone of his strength, a testament to his rigorous running schedule. "The more I ran, the better I played," he affirmed.

However, as time passed, the physical toll on his knees and Achilles forced him to reduce his running. Yet, Tiger's commitment to fitness never wavered. He adapted by emphasizing weight training to boost his endurance, ensuring he remained competitive, especially towards the closing stages of tournaments.

This recent public appearance also saw Tiger, alongside his ex-wife Elin Nordegren, celebrate their 15-year-old son's achievements. The event honored Charlie and his North Palm Beach, Florida school team for winning the Class 1A golf title, marking the school's fourth victory in this competition.

This family affair not only highlighted a proud moment for Charlie but also showcased Tiger in a light that fans and followers hadn't seen in quite a while — as a dedicated co-parent.

Tiger and Elin's journey from a married couple to co-parents is a tale of transformation, understanding, and mutual respect. They exchanged vows on October 5, 2004, in a union that was closely followed by fans and the media alike.

However, the fabric of their marriage began to unravel, leading to their divorce in August 2010. This conclusion came nine months after allegations of Woods' extramarital affairs became public.

In a joint statement, the couple expressed sadness over the dissolution of their marriage but emphasized the continuing importance of their children's happiness to both of them. The Florida Circuit Court facilitated "shared parenting of their two children," marking the beginning of their co-parenting journey.

The divorce, described by Nordegren as the end of an "irretrievably broken" marriage, led to a joint parenting plan agreed upon by both parties. This plan was a commitment to maintaining a unified front for the sake of their children's well-being.

Despite the turbulent end to their marriage, Tiger and Elin have evolved into a dynamic co-parenting duo, exemplifying maturity and mutual respect for the sake of their children.

Years removed from the tumult of their divorce, Tiger reflects on their current relationship with a sense of admiration and gratitude. He describes Elin as one of his best friends, a confidante with whom he shares the intricacies of his life and seeks advice.

This transformation was not instantaneous but the result of deliberate efforts to prioritize their children's happiness and well-being above all. His candid admission of his mistakes to his children is a testament to his commitment to transparency and responsibility.

The golf champion expressed a poignant wish that he had fostered a more honest relationship with Elin during their marriage, convinced that such transparency could have mitigated their conflicts. Today, their ability to communicate openly and supportively represents a stark contrast to the past, providing a stable and loving environment for their children.

In retrospect, Tiger acknowledges the missed opportunity for a more open relationship with his ex-wife while they were married. He credits the current strength of their relationship to a concerted effort to overcome the challenges of the past.

This evolution from estranged partners to best friends and co-parents is a narrative of redemption and growth. Tiger and Elin have successfully navigated the complexities of co-parenting, ensuring that their children are raised in a nurturing environment marked by love, respect, and mutual support.

In his commitment to being a dedicated parent, Tiger Woods continued to stay by his son's side as he took steps to become a professional golfer. In 2022, a few months after his nearly fatal car accident, he was seen golfing with his son.

The duo joined the PNC Championship for the third year in a row, showing onlookers that Charlie is a prodigy of his father. Although Tiger was visibly limping during the tour, he focused more on his son and the competition.
