To partially quote the legendary song "Fergalicious" by iconic songstress Fergie, popular chef Guy Fieri has been "up in the gym just working on [his] fitness," and it certainly shows. The 56-year-old restauranteur showed off his amazing new figure after losing over 30 pounds.

The pictures were taken as part of a magazine cover profile he did with Men's Health. "Big thanks to @menshealthmag for havin' me this month!!" captioned Guy alongside his carousel post.

The official Instagram page for the magazine also shared its own array of images showing Guy in an ice bath, getting out of a sauna, and lastly, cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

For those who may be dying to find out how the Food Network star managed to make such a drastic change and prioritize his health and fitness, Men's Magazine has you covered with the answers. In the magazine profile, Guy revealed all his trade secrets to embarking on a healthier lifestyle.

According to the article, when it comes to maintaining his fitness, Guy adopts the "a little bit of everything" approach. He hikes hills around his estate a couple of times per week; puts pedal to the metal during intense HIIT workout routines with his trainer; takes daily cold plunges and sauna steams, eats vegetables, and makes use of intermittent fasting.

Far from seeing such routines as drastic changes, Guy still leads the same life he used to, only healthier, adopting the art of moderation.

Contrary to popular belief, although he is known for delectably rich dishes like pizza and hamburgers viewers see on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," Guy has actually led a moderately healthy lifestyle for a while and was raised on a macrobiotic diet by his parents, Penelope and Jim Ferry.

"But unfortunately, in the DDD world, people like to go, 'Oh, you're the chef that eats the deep-fried pizza burgers with the ice cream toppings and all those huge, fried everythings.' My response is, 'I don't want to say that you don't know what you're talking about. But you don't know what you're talking about,'" divulged Guy.

Even on the indulgent food show, Guy is frequently seen visiting Thai, Greek, and Pakistani vegan restaurants. However, the doting father and husband is also not naive to the fact that regardless of the aforementioned facts, calories can still be gained.

Nevertheless, he would still moderate weight gain with healthy tricks he picked up while growing up, like portion control, exercise, and juicing.

Although those healthy habits worked out, they only went so far. Guy still found himself exhausted when doing shared activities with his sons, Hunter and Ryder Fieri, like hunting. As a result, he was motivated to seek out trainer Scott Butler for assistance.

With Scott's help, Guy, his crew, and his loved ones began participating in station-centric workouts like burpees, squats, battle ropes, and overhead presses, to name a few. Next came intermittent fasting.

After a dietician explained that the green juices he was drinking weren't really doing much for him, Guy stopped drinking the juices and decided to stop eating breakfast altogether. However, make no mistake, Guy still eats what he wants to, just not as much of it.

Aside from his workout regimens and eating habits, Guy makes use of cold water immersion therapy and saunas as part of his recovery routine. He usually spends around 15 minutes a day in a sauna and follows this with another 3 minutes or so in a cold plunge. "It's a daily reset that keeps me going," explained Guy of why he does so.

Guy Fieri has even adopted new cooking techniques and skills amid his health and wellness journey. He uses a freeze dryer that his loving wife, Lori Fieri, bought for him at a time when he was looking for healthier alternatives for snacks he wanted to take with him during his hunts.

Regarding the reasons why Guy decided to change his lifestyle in the first place, the TV personality, who stopped drinking alcohol during the week, previously told a media outlet in 2022 that he didn't want to die young.

"I don't want to be one of those guys that burns up through the tunnel [...] I want to be around for my kids. I want to be around for Hunter and Ryder's kids," asserted Guy.
