Born on December 18, 1980, in Staten Island, New York, Christina Aguilera had a troubled early life due to her father's abuse of her mother. At six, her mother left the abusive marriage, moving to Rochester, Pennsylvania, with Christina and her sister.

Having started a new life, young Aguilera first developed a love for music when she was only six years old. She inherited her musical talents from her mother, an experienced pianist and violinist.

Despite this, Aguilera continued to perform, and she landed a spot in the national television program, "Star Search." The New Yorker, then eight, made an impression with a memorable rendition of "A Sunday Kind of Love" by Etta James and finished second place in the competition.
"At that age, I always sang songs meant for older people. That fit my personality—I had pain to sing about. If there had been a show like 'The Voice,' I would have gone on it. It would have been amazing to be coached by a mentor," Aguilera reflected on her performance on the show.

Aguilera in 1993
The songwriter garnered national recognition after appearing as a "Mouseketeer" on "The All New Mickey Mouse Club," which also starred Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
The blonde beauty was on the program for two years before moving to Japan with her mother. While on foreign soil, Aguilera recorded the hit single, "All I Wanna Do," and more doors opened up for her.

She later collaborated with fellow artists such as Pink, Lil Kim, and Mya on the hit single, "Lady Marmalade." This was followed by her highly sexualized second album "Stripped" in 2002 which featured songs including "Dirrty" and "Make Over."

Aguilera in 2005
It was through her singing career that Aguilera met her only husband, music producer, Jordan Bratman. The pair crossed paths when the TV personality traveled to Atlanta to record her solo album in 2002.

Soon after meeting, Bratman moved to Los Angeles and the couple became inseparable. He proposed to Aguilera three years later during a Valentine's getaway in Carmel, California.

The lovebirds eventually tied the knot in November 2005 at an estate in Napa Valley. They exchanged their wedding vows under a chuppah of fuchsia, blush, and deep roses.

After getting hitched, Aguilera released more music in 2006 including a new album "Back to Basics." It is a two-disc collection of influential standards dating back to the 1920s through to the 1940s.

Aguilera in 2008
Two years later, Aguilera became a first-time mom when she and Bratman welcomed their only child together in January 2008. At the time, a rep for the couple announced the arrival of a baby boy in a statement.
The message read, "Christina and Jordan are proud to announce the birth of their son Max Liron Bratman. He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy! Mom is resting and doing well!"

The new mom later posted a message on her official website, writing, "Today is a very joyful and special day for Jordan and I, as we welcome our first son into the world." She also expressed gratitude to her spouse, thanking him for his "undying love and support."

Another two years later, the family woman returned to work with her new album, "Bionic." Aguilera experimented with electronic sound for this album which almost reached the top of the charts but failed to have hit singles.

While busy on the work front, Aguilera's family was falling apart. Following five years of marriage, she and Bratman decided to call it quits on their marriage.

Aguilera moved on from Bratman and met MasterClass executive, Matt Rutler. In August 2014, the couple welcomed a daughter together after announcing the pregnancy news in February of that year.

Aguilera focused on work again finishing her tour in 2019 after a ten-year hiatus. "I had to get back to my heart, and my soul, and my fans, and what I love to do best. And it was so successful and amazing," she said of the experience during an interview.

Dubbed the "Voice of a Generation," the singer performed one of hit her songs "Dirrty" wearing a black and gold bodysuit which showed off her curves.

Most recently, Aguilera performed in Mexico and shared several snapshots from her performances on her Instagram account. The images show her in a black bodysuit paired with leather boots showing off her dramatic slim figure.
She captioned the post, "Mexico City! I almost didn't make it on stage, but your energy and passion gave me the power and made my night. Thank you so much!"
The Daily Mail reposted one of Aguilera’s photos from the post on X, writing, "Christina Aguilera sparks Ozempic rumblings after displaying 40-pound weight loss during a concert in Mexico."
Online users reacted to the post and one person commented, "She looks amazing and happy." However, fellow X users expressed their disapproval after seeing the Aguilera’s new look.
"She looked better before," wrote one person. Another shared before and after pictures of the celebrity and stated, "That Ozempic is no joke." Meanwhile, in January 2024, one user asked, "What happened to Christina Aguilera?!"
