The updated poster, cleverly titled "How to Lose Your Pants in 10 Ways," features the actor striking a humorous pose in a suit jacket, tie, and socks — sans trousers, paying homage to the tequila brand's name, which translates to "pants" in Spanish. Meanwhile, Camila stuns in a striking yellow silk gown, reminiscent of the iconic dress worn by Kate Hudson in the original movie.

In addition to the photo, Matthew shared a playful caption on Instagram, that read, "You're so vain, you probably think this tequila's about you." The post, shared on November 19, also included a behind-the-scenes clip of the couple having fun during the shoot, offering fans a lighthearted glimpse into their creative process.

A recurring sentiment in the comments compared Camila to Kate, with one user stating, "Camila is beautiful but she can't replace iconic star Kate Hudson she is amazing and beautiful ❤️ [sic]." Another agreed, "Not the same without Kate Hudson." Echoing the nostalgia, one comment read, "Kate much cuter [sic]."

While some reactions favored Kate's original look, others praised Camila's beauty, with one remarking, "His wife is stunning but that dress was made for Kate ❤️," while another insisted, "So much better with Camila! ❤️" Yet another user echoed the sentiment, "Ok, but Camila is insanely beautiful here."

The original movie poster for "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" featured Matthew and Kate standing back-to-back. Kate, dressed in her now-iconic yellow silk gown, leaned confidently against Matthew, who donned a sleek black suit and tie, exuding his character's charm. This imagery became one of the most memorable visuals of early 2000s rom-coms.

Matthew plays Benjamin Barry, a charismatic advertising executive and ladies' man in the film. To win a high-stakes advertising campaign, he bets that he can make a woman fall in love with him in just ten days. Enter Andie Anderson, played by Kate, a magazine writer crafting a column about what it takes to drive a man away in the same timeframe.

What starts as a game for both characters soon takes a turn as real emotions emerge, leading to the actors falling for each other. With an IMDB rating of 6.5/10, the film remains a fan favorite for its humor and undeniable chemistry between the leads.

In February 2023, Kate and Matthew reunited via Instagram Live to celebrate the movie's 20th anniversary. Their discussion covered everything from the steamy kissing scenes to the impact of that unforgettable yellow dress.

Kate humorously remarked, "So, what's it like to kiss McConaughey? … My whole thing is, we're always in weird environments… There was only one time when we kissed that was so nice and gentle in the bathroom."

Matthew playfully chimed in, "Yeah, everything else has not been climate-controlled." Reflecting on the significance of the yellow dress, the "Interstellar" alum shared, "The yellow dress was the bomb and no other dress and any other dress was a far second." The "Fool's Gold" actress agreed, adding, "It's crazy. That yellow dress has lived on."

The gala scene from the film remains etched in fans' memories, not only because of Andie's stunning gown but also because of Benjamin's heartfelt reaction when he tells her, "You're beautiful."

Interestingly, the story of how Matthew met his wife, Camila, feels as serendipitous as a rom-com plot. According to the Hollywood star's book, "Greenlights," the pair met in late 2006 at the Hyde Club on Sunset Boulevard.

Describing the moment, Matthew wrote, "My mom's voice began echoing in my head, 'This is not your average woman you wave over from across the bar, son. Get your [expletive] up, and go introduce yourself.'"

After a memorable introduction involving a margarita made by Matthew, their connection blossomed. Despite initial language barriers — Camila being Brazilian and speaking Portuguese — the two hit it off.

As Matthew humorously recounted, "Despite my uncultured errors, I successfully got a date with her (after trying and failing twice), and almost two decades later, she's still the only woman I've ever wanted to make a margarita for. And that, my friends, is how it all started - with a twist of tequila fate."

The "Failure to Launch" actor lives a grounded and wholesome life with his beloved wife and their three children. The duo have been married since 2012 and celebrated their 12th anniversary in June with a heartwarming Instagram post.

In the picture, Matthew, who is dressed in cowboy attire — inclusive of a cowboy hat and denim jacket — is seen placing a sweet kiss on Camila's forehead. Making the caption short and sweet, Matthew penned, "thank you #happyanniversary."

When the lovebirds are not doting upon each other, they are busy being parents to their beautiful children, Levi, Vida, and Livingston Alves McConaughey. Together with their kids, Matthew and Camila enjoy an adventure-filled life in the actor's home state of Texas.

They made the move to the state in 2014 after selling their house in California to live there full time. Earlier this year in March, Camila and Matthew sat down with Southern Living to discuss their life and appreciation for West Texas.

During the interview, Camila spoke about what prompted their move to the state. She started by describing the life they previously led in California. "We were living a happy life in Malibu. We had a beautiful house that we'd built together and put a lot of love and care into. We were raising our kids there. I was growing everything in the yard. I had bees making honey," Camila reflected.

However, in addition to recognizing her husband's anchored and older ties to Texas, a family crisis spearheaded Camila and their family leaving California and going to Austin.

They were several weeks into their stay there, helping Matthew's mom and two brothers when Camila noticed that Texas was enforcing a gravitational pull upon Matthew.

According to the media outlet, Camila noticed how happy Matthew was being there: His mood improved, he lived life with more ease, and his grin widened. Driving back from visiting his mom one night, a moment when they stopped at a red light changed everything.

"You want to move here, don't you?" Matthew recalled his wife blurting out at that moment. Camila asked him that because she said that she could see "a peaceful but confident, energetic look," on Matthew's face as he gazed out at the Hill Country panorama.

"It was like one…two…three…, and you went, 'Yep,'" Camila divulged. After exchanging some adorable back-and-forth couple banter while recalling the moment, Matthew added, "As soon as I chuckled, the light turned green and we pulled out." "And then I said, 'Let's do it,'" Camilla asserted.

The couple went on to embark on their move to the Lone Star State, though it was not without its challenges at first, especially for Camila. In the same profile interview, Matthew admitted that Camilla initially struggled with the Malibu-to-Texas transition.

It was difficult at first because as far as her life in America, the beautiful Brazilian-American model had only ever lived in the glamorous cities of Los Angeles and New York when living in America. Additionally, whereas Matthew had friends in Texas, Camila did not.

Also, unlike the 41-year-old, Matthew, 55, knew the lay of the land. He was very familiar with the landscapes of Texas, both physically and culturally. However, Camila eventually fell in love with the state just as much as her husband.

In addition to their house in Texas, Camila Alves, Matthew McConaughey, and their kids have a luxury RV, which is a huge update from the trailer the Hollywood heartthrob, who came from humble beginnings, once lived in.
