On January 22, 2025, the "Pour Me A Drink" artist took to Instagram to post an eye-catching photo of him holding a Post Malone Oreo Cookie Pack. The singer gazed at the camera with his wide blue eyes and a playful shocked reaction, emphasizing his excitement over the bespoke product.

"Did we create the best @Oreo ever?😉 NEW @postmalone OREO Cookies hit shelves 2/3. #ad," captioned Post alongside the image.

Like the A-lister, Oreo also announced the news, sharing details about the flavor and showcasing the interesting cookie design patterns (embossments) inspired by Post's music career on their website.

According to Oreo, the limited-edition cookies have salted caramel and shortbread flavor creme sandwiched between a chocolate and a golden cookie.

The cookies come in nine distinct embossments with names such as Oreo and Post vinyl, a PM Guitar Pick, Rockstar, Sunflower, Post, 12 Carat, Circles, Saw Blade Vinyl, and Posty's Pickup. Oreo's site also includes images of the "Better Now" musician eating the cookies and posing with the packages in different attire.

Adding an extra layer of uniqueness to the product is the fact that the salted caramel and shortbread flavor creme is swirled. "It's the first time Oreo has ever twisted the creme of the cookie and they named it after me. Unbelievable, right? I thought so too!" penned Post on Oreo's website.

Speaking about his collaboration with the popular food company to USA Today, Post revealed how he has been eating Oreos his entire life. He also boasted about how life-changing his limited-edition cookies will be, emphasizing his point by using an expletive.

While Post's cookies are only up for presale from January 27, 2025, fans can sign up for early access on the Oreo website from as early as today (January 23, 2025), according to a statement shared by Mondelēz International (the cookie brand's parent company).

People who have heard about the news took to online platforms to assert their opinions, with many expressing their excitement and eagerness to try out the upcoming product.

"I'm gonna have to give these a shot. I've tried all the weird flavors and this one actually sounds good!" asserted a netizen on X, who accompanied their message with the same image Post shared on Instagram.

Another echoed a similar sentiment, while an X user expressed, "This sounds too good to be true." "Is this true? Please let this be true!" pleaded a particularly excited Facebooker. The thrill continued with yet another person opining, "that [sic] looks yummy."

On the other hand, some social media users were not as enthusiastic about the cookies. "I've always wanted to find a reason why I should stop eating Oreo cookies. Here it is now!!" wrote a less-than-pleased netizen.

Jumping on the critique bandwagon, someone else noted, "Unappetizing," while another person said, "I won't waste my money." However, a Facebooker defended, "It actually sounds kinda good. Better than some of their other flavors. 🤷‍♀️."

While there is much buzz and discussion surrounding Oreo's new Post Malone cookie, it is not the first time the beloved brand has switched things up with its products by way of collaborating with a celebrity.

Back in 2020, Oreo joined forces with Lady Gaga to create a limited-edition cookie inspired by her Chromatica album.

These limited-edition sweet treats are filled with green creme sandwiched between two pink-colored golden cookies. The iconic musician took to Instagram in December of that same year (2020) to share her collaborative project with her followers.

She posted a video of herself lying down on a couch with one packet of bright pink cookies with her name printed on the front.

As she described the contents of the cookies, the "Bad Romance" singer opened the packet to give her followers a closer glimpse of what they look like. Her adorable pup made an appearance in the video as well, eagerly sniffing the delicious treats.

"⚔️LADY GAGA x @OREO x #Chromatica💓Dropping soon!" exclaimed the singer in her caption alongside the video post.
