Inside Lisa Rinna’s New Memoir — The Bold Revelations Making Headlines
From Bravo drama to a pointed claim about a former soap co-star, Lisa Rinna is addressing unfinished business in her new memoir. The book revisits career highs, personal scrutiny, and long-simmering tensions.
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Rinna announced on social media that her new memoir is officially available, signaling she is ready to share her side of the story.
In the book, she addresses her exit from the show, long-standing rumors about her husband's sexuality, pointed opinions about former castmates, and a striking claim from her soap opera days.

According to her Instagram post, the former "RHOBH" cast member told followers, "I spill ALL the tea. I can't wait to hear what you guys think!" She shared several images featuring highlighted quotes from the book.
Rinna also confirmed that she recorded the audiobook herself. The announcement quickly drew strong engagement from fans online.
As excerpts began circulating, it became clear the memoir goes far beyond nostalgia — offering pointed accounts of professional fallout, personal rumors, and unresolved tensions.

Inside Her Dramatic 'RHOBH' Departure
Published on February 24, 2026, the memoir outlines Rinna's reasons for exiting the show after Season 12. She said her decision was immediate following the reunion taping: "I knew my time on the show ended the minute season 12's reunion was over. I knew I was never going back."
She adds that when others doubted her, "I was dead serious and don't call me Shirley."

She details sending a resignation text to executive producers Chris Cullen and Alex Baskin, followed by an email to NBCUniversal executive Kathleen French. Rinna claims that although she had previously been persuaded to stay in earlier seasons, this time no one attempted to change her mind.
According to the book, tensions escalated after she sent her resignation letter via email. "When I actually up and left, they got back at me by posting that email on the air when season 13 started," she writes, suggesting the move felt retaliatory.

She also addresses Andy Cohen's 2023 book "Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up," alleging it included her private resignation texts. Describing her reaction, she writes, "After I read it, I was so mad, I threw his book in my fireplace and watched it burn gleefully."
The chapter frames her exit as both deliberate and contentious, but she also turns to rumors that followed her off-screen.

Addressing Rumors About Her Husband
In another section of the memoir, Rinna confronts long-running speculation about her husband, actor Harry Hamlin, which circulated during her time on the Bravo series. She suggests the rumors intensified as storylines on the show grew more personal.
Seeking to end the narrative, she writes, "Let's just clear this up one last time, once and for all: Harry's heterosexual. He is not a gay man in any way, shape, or form, not that there's anything wrong with that."

Rinna adds that she had not encountered such claims before joining the show and characterizes the speculation as an attempt to provoke her. She also said it "never concerned" her.
She then pivots from defending her family to offering blunt assessments of the cast dynamic itself.

Unfiltered Opinions on Her Former Co-Stars
Reflecting on her eight-season run on "RHOBH," Rinna evaluates both her own performance and that of her castmates. She gives herself "an A minus" for her fashion choices before pivoting to pointed critiques of others' style and on-screen personas.

Recalling a Dolce & Gabbana fitting with Sutton Stracke, she writes that Sutton stepped out in a look she felt obligated to compliment despite her private doubts. "Let's start with Sutton who is living proof money can't buy you taste," she states, later adding, "I'm not dragging Dolce, I'm happy to drag Sutton."
Her commentary broadens from there. She describes Garcelle Beauvais as "fake from head to toe" and calls Denise Richards "a Malibu fashion victim."

She also critiques Lisa Vanderpump's polished, diamond-heavy image, suggesting it leaned into what she characterizes as a "granny style" built around structured button-down shirts, platform shoes, and jeans.
Acknowledging the sharp tone of her assessments, she adds, "I'm feeling saucy, somebody stop me." If those remarks reopen familiar Bravo-era tensions, the memoir's most explosive chapter reaches back even further.

The Book's Biggest Bombshell
Rinna's memoir revisits her early breakthrough as Billie Reed on "Days of Our Lives," the role that cemented her place in daytime television. She recalls stepping into the character after Kristian Alfonso's temporary departure and quickly winning over viewers.
Rinna writes that the audience response was overwhelming, noting that the validation she received from fans "meant so much to me," even more than earning Newcomer of the Year at the Soap Opera Digest Awards.

She and co-star Robert Kelker-Kelly, who played Bo Brady, were voted "Best Couple" multiple times during her three-year run — recognition she attributes to what she describes as a thin line between love and hate translating into "fiery chemistry" on-screen.
Behind the scenes, however, she portrays a far more strained dynamic. In the memoir, Rinna alleges that Kelker-Kelly was one of the "biggest" bullies in Hollywood and writes that he made her life a "living hell" on set.
She claims his behavior was "verbally abusive," "passive-aggressive," and "manipulative," describing an atmosphere in which she felt constantly on edge.

Rinna said she never knew which version of her co-star she would encounter on a given day, calling the experience exhausting and one of the most difficult professional relationships of her career.
She also reflects on her youth at the time, expressing regret that she did not confront the situation more directly, writing that she was "too young" and unwilling to risk her job.
Long before the memoir's revelations began circulating, Rinna had already reignited public fascination — this time not with words, but with a striking transformation that turned heads overseas.
