Williams, former drummer for The Devil Wears Prada, died in a 4 a.m. plane crash on May 22, 2025, in San Diego. The collision set fire to a Navy-owned neighborhood, injuring several and destroying a home.

4. Ozzy Osbourne Performed One Last Time in His Hometown

Osbourne, 76, died on July 23, 2025. Less than three weeks earlier, he'd taken the stage in Birmingham for a farewell concert, joined by Metallica and Guns N' Roses, his final performance.

5. Anne Burrell's Death Was Ruled a Suicide by Acute Intoxication

Burrell was found unresponsive in her Brooklyn home on June 17, 2025. The medical examiner later confirmed suicide by acute intoxication from a mix of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine.

6. Hulk Hogan Was Pronounced Dead After a Cardiac Arrest

Hogan died at 71 on July 24, 2025. Paramedics rushed to his Clearwater, Florida, home for a cardiac arrest, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Days earlier, he had been sharing personal moments with fans online.

7. Robert Redford Died Surrounded by Loved Ones in Utah

Redford died at 89 on September 16, 2025, at home in Sundance, Utah. His publicist said he passed "surrounded by those he loved" in the mountains he called home.

Goodall died of natural causes while on a speaking tour in California. The Jane Goodall Institute shared the news on October 1, 2025. She was due to speak at UCLA and George Washington University in the days ahead.

Keaton, 79, was found unresponsive at her California home on October 11, 2025, at 8:08 a.m. Paramedics rushed her to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
