Utah Mother Allegedly Vanished with 4 Children, Leaving 'Delusional' Message
What began as a holiday custody arrangement has spiraled into an international mystery with dark and far-reaching undertones.
In the days following Thanksgiving 2025, Elleshia Anne Seymour, a mother from Utah, allegedly disappeared overseas with her four children, leaving behind what was described as a delirious memo.

Charges Filed After One-Way Flight
Known to some as Elle, the mother of four is now facing four counts of custodial interference and removing a child from the state, both third-degree felonies.
On December 10, the Utah Department of Public Safety released an endangered missing advisory regarding four children. Officials identified the missing youth as 10-year-old Landon Hal Seymour, 8-year-old Levi Parker Seymour, 7-year-old Hazel Rae Seymour, and 3-year-old Jacob Kurt Brady.

Deputies from the West Jordan Police Department were first dispatched to Elleshia's home on December 2. When they arrived, the house was unlocked and completely empty.
Authorities were unable to contact Elleshia, and neither a friend nor a coworker had heard from her since November 29, the day she reportedly vanished. A former boyfriend later informed police that Elleshia had previously spoken about obtaining passports and leaving the country.

That concern quickly became serious business.
Her vehicle was eventually located in the Salt Lake City International Airport parking lot, and surveillance footage confirmed what many feared: she had boarded a one-way flight heading to Amsterdam, accompanied by all four children. The journey was to end in Croatia.
Apocalyptic Message and No Consent
At some point after the flight, one of the children's two fathers received a voicemail from Elleshia, claiming she was in France and searching for a permanent home. Her reason, according to the message, was that the "end times" were coming.
Authorities quickly confirmed that neither father had given consent for international travel. But the most chilling revelation: investigators believe Elleshia has no intention of ever coming back.
She has not been located, and no arrest has been made.
The Desperate Cry for Support
Therefore, a holiday visit has become every parent's nightmare.

Therefore, Kendall Seymour, the father of three of her children, turned to law enforcement and filed for a protective order, which has yet to be granted. But he also took his story public through a GoFundMe campaign, where he laid out the full extent of what he believes happened.
"To put it bluntly, my kids have been abducted overseas by their mother," the fundraiser begins.
He explained that his ex-wife left the country with his three children and her youngest child, fathered by another man. No one, including Kendall, knew what had happened until Tuesday, December 2.
In the fundraiser, he also pointed out something shocking: While both parents' signatures are generally required to travel internationally with minors, Elleshia allegedly forged his and the other father's names on passport documents to obtain clearance.
The Insane Message and a Disturbing List
What's more, Kendall wrote that Elleshia had left behind a "delusional message" suggesting God wanted her to be in Italy by Christmas.
Even more concerning was a so-called "To-Do List" she supposedly left behind, which included things like destroy paperwork, get rid of photos, throw away old phone, and buy a new pre-paid phone.
The note, in Kendall's view, was not the sign of a mother making a spontaneous decision, but one carefully planned and executed over time.
He added that a close friend of his had also been abducted internationally as a child, and advised Kendall to go find the kids himself to be physically present in case their mother is arrested.
A Father's Wish
While Elleshia's whereabouts remain unknown, Kendall has placed his hope in the ongoing FBI investigation. His GoFundMe is intended to fund roundtrip airfare to Europe, a modest hotel if needed, and one-way return tickets for the children if and when they're recovered.
Any leftover funds, Kendall said, will go toward therapy for the children following this traumatic ordeal.
"My genuine hope is that the kids are found quickly, and we can pick them up while they still think they're on a vacation," he wrote.
